1 M ake haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.

Acude, Dios, a librarme; apresúrate, Dios, a socorrerme.

2 L et them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Sean avergonzados y confundidos los que buscan mi vida; sean vueltos atrás y avergonzados los que mi mal desean.

3 L et them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Sean vueltos atrás, en pago de su afrenta, los que se burlan de mí.

4 L et all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

¡Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan! Y digan siempre los que aman tu salvación: «¡Engrandecido sea Dios!»

5 B ut I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.

Yo estoy afligido y menesteroso; apresúrate a mí, oh Dios. Ayuda mía y mi libertador eres tú; ¡Jehová, no te detengas!
