1 L et God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

Levántese Dios, sean esparcidos sus enemigos y huyan de su presencia los que lo aborrecen.

2 A s smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Como es lanzado el humo, los disiparás; como se derrite la cera ante el fuego, así perecerán los impíos delante de Dios.

3 B ut let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Mas los justos se alegrarán; se gozarán delante de Dios y saltarán de alegría.

4 S ing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

Cantad a Dios, cantad salmos a su nombre; exaltad al que cabalga sobre los cielos. Jah es su nombre: ¡alegraos delante de él!

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

Padre de huérfanos y defensor de viudas es Dios en su santa morada.

6 G od setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Dios hace habitar en familia a los desamparados; saca a los cautivos a prosperidad; mas los rebeldes habitan en tierra árida.

7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

Cuando tú, Dios, saliste delante de tu pueblo, cuando anduviste por el desierto, Selah

8 T he earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

la tierra tembló y destilaron los cielos; ante la presencia de Dios, aquel Sinaí tembló, delante de Dios, del Dios de Israel.

9 T hou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

Abundante lluvia esparciste, oh Dios; a tu heredad exhausta tú la reanimaste.

10 T hy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

Los que son de tu grey han morado en ella; por tu bondad, Dios, has provisto para el pobre.

11 T he Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

El Señor daba la palabra, multitud de mujeres anunciaba las buenas nuevas:

12 K ings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

«¡Huyeron, huyeron reyes de ejércitos!», y las mujeres que se quedaban en casa repartían los despojos.

13 T hough ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

Bien que quedasteis echados entre los tiestos, seréis como alas de paloma cubiertas de plata, y sus plumas de amarillez de oro.

14 W hen the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

Cuando esparció el Omnipotente a los reyes allí, fue como si hubiera nevado en el monte Salmón.

15 T he hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

Muy altos son los montes de Basán, altas son sus cimas.

16 W hy leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever.

¿Por qué miráis con hostilidad, montes altos, al monte que deseó Dios para su morada? Ciertamente Jehová habitará en él para siempre.

17 T he chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Los carros de Dios se cuentan por veintenas de millares de millares; el Señor viene del Sinaí a su santuario.

18 T hou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

Subiste a lo alto, tomaste cautivos. Tomaste dones de los hombres, también de los rebeldes, para que habite entre ellos Jah Dios.

19 B lessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

¡Bendito sea el Señor! ¡Cada día nos colma de beneficios el Dios de nuestra salvación! Selah

20 H e that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

Dios, nuestro Dios, ha de salvarnos; de Jehová el Señor es el librar de la muerte.

21 B ut God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.

Ciertamente Dios herirá la cabeza de sus enemigos, la testa cabelluda del que camina en sus pecados.

22 T he Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

El Señor dijo: «De Basán te haré volver; de las profundidades del mar te haré volver,

23 T hat thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

porque tu pie se enrojecerá con la sangre de tus enemigos, y con ella la lengua de tus perros.»

24 T hey have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

¡Vieron tus caminos, oh Dios; los caminos de mi Dios, de mi Rey, en el santuario!

25 T he singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

Los cantores van delante, los músicos atrás; en medio, las doncellas con panderos.

26 B less ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

¡Bendecid a Dios en las congregaciones; al Señor, vosotros de la estirpe de Israel!

27 T here is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

Allí estaba el joven Benjamín, a la cabeza de ellos, los príncipes de Judá en su congregación, los príncipes de Zabulón, los príncipes de Neftalí.

28 T hy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

Tu Dios ha ordenado tu fuerza; confirma, Dios, lo que has hecho para nosotros.

29 B ecause of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

Por causa de tu Templo, en Jerusalén, los reyes te ofrecerán dones.

30 R ebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

Reprime la reunión de gentes armadas, la multitud de toros con los becerros de los pueblos, hasta que todos se sometan con sus piezas de plata. ¡Esparce a los pueblos que se complacen en la guerra!

31 P rinces shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

Vendrán príncipes de Egipto; Etiopía se apresurará a extender sus manos hacia Dios.

32 S ing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:

¡Reinos de la tierra, cantad a Dios, cantad al Señor, Selah

33 T o him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

al que cabalga sobre los cielos de los cielos, que son desde la antigüedad! Él hará oír su voz, su poderosa voz.

34 A scribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

Atribuid el poder a Dios; sobre Israel es su magnificencia y su poder está en los cielos.

35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

Temible eres, Dios, desde tus santuarios. El Dios de Israel, él da fuerza y vigor a su pueblo. Bendito sea Dios.
