1 N o a nosotros, Jehová, no a nosotros, sino a tu nombre da gloria, por tu misericordia, por tu verdad.

Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.

2 ¿ Por qué han de decir las gentes: «¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?»?

Wherefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?

3 ¡ Nuestro Dios está en los cielos; todo lo que quiso ha hecho!

But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.

4 L os ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.

Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

5 T ienen boca, pero no hablan; tienen ojos, pero no ven;

They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;

6 o rejas tienen, pero no oyen; tienen narices, pero no huelen;

They have ears, but they hear not; Noses have they, but they smell not;

7 m anos tienen, pero no palpan; tienen pies, pero no andan, ni hablan con su garganta.

They have hands, but they handle not; Feet have they, but they walk not; Neither speak they through their throat.

8 S emejantes a ellos son los que los hacen y cualquiera que confía en ellos.

They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

9 I srael, ¡confía en Jehová! Él es tu ayuda y tu escudo.

O Israel, trust thou in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

10 C asa de Aarón, ¡confiad en Jehová! Él es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

O house of Aaron, trust ye in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

11 L os que teméis a Jehová, ¡confiad en Jehová! Él es vuestra ayuda y vuestro escudo.

Ye that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.

12 J ehová se ha acordado de nosotros y nos bendecirá. Bendecirá a la casa de Israel; bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.

Jehovah hath been mindful of us; he will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.

13 B endecirá a los que temen a Jehová, a pequeños y a grandes.

He will bless them that fear Jehovah, Both small and great.

14 A umentará Jehová bendición sobre vosotros; sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.

Jehovah increase you more and more, You and your children.

15 ¡ Benditos vosotros de Jehová, que hizo los cielos y la tierra!

Blessed are ye of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.

16 L os cielos son los cielos de Jehová, y ha dado la tierra a los hijos de los hombres.

The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah; But the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 N o alabarán los muertos a Jah, ni cuantos descienden al silencio;

The dead praise not Jehovah, Neither any that go down into silence;

18 p ero nosotros bendeciremos a Jah desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Aleluya!

But we will bless Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore. Praise ye Jehovah.
