1 D ijo luego Jehová a Noé: «Entra tú y toda tu familia en el arca, porque sólo a ti he visto justo delante de mí en esta generación.

And Jehovah said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

2 D e todo animal limpio tomarás siete parejas, cada macho con su hembra; pero de los animales que no son limpios, una pareja, un macho con su hembra.

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee seven and seven, the male and his female; and of the beasts that are not clean two, the male and his female:

3 T ambién de las aves de los cielos siete parejas, macho y hembra, para conservar viva la especie sobre la faz de la tierra.

of the birds also of the heavens, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

4 Y pasados aún siete días, yo haré llover sobre la tierra cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; y borraré de la faz de la tierra a todo ser viviente que hice.»

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living thing that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the ground.

5 E hizo Noé conforme a todo lo que le mandó Jehová.

And Noah did according unto all that Jehovah commanded him.

6 E ra Noé de seiscientos años cuando el diluvio de las aguas vino sobre la tierra.

And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

7 Y por causa de las aguas del diluvio entró Noé en el arca, y con él sus hijos, su mujer y las mujeres de sus hijos.

And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

8 D e los animales limpios, de los animales que no eran limpios, de las aves y de todo lo que se arrastra sobre la tierra,

Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creepeth upon the ground,

9 d e dos en dos, entraron con Noé en el arca; macho y hembra, como Dios mandó a Noé.

there went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, male and female, as God commanded Noah.

10 A l séptimo día, las aguas del diluvio vinieron sobre la tierra.

And it came to pass after the seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

11 A quel día del año seiscientos de la vida de Noé, en el mes segundo, a los diecisiete días del mes, fueron rotas todas las fuentes del gran abismo y abiertas las cataratas de los cielos,

In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

12 y hubo lluvia sobre la tierra cuarenta días y cuarenta noches.

And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 A quel mismo día entraron en el arca Noé, sus hijos Sem, Cam y Jafet, la mujer de Noé y las tres mujeres de sus hijos;

In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

14 t odos ellos, y todos los animales salvajes según sus especies, todos los animales domésticos según sus especies, todo reptil que se arrastra sobre la tierra según su especie, toda ave según su especie y toda clase de pájaros y seres alados.

they, and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort.

15 E ntraron, pues, con Noé en el arca, de dos en dos, de todo ser en que había espíritu de vida.

And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh wherein is the breath of life.

16 L os que entraron eran macho y hembra de cada especie, como le había mandado Dios; y Jehová le cerró la puerta.

And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him: and Jehovah shut him in.

17 E l diluvio duró cuarenta días sobre la tierra. Las aguas crecieron y alzaron el arca, que se elevó sobre la tierra.

And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.

18 L as aguas siguieron subiendo y creciendo en gran manera sobre la tierra y flotaba el arca sobre la superficie de las aguas.

And the waters prevailed, and increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

19 L as aguas subieron mucho sobre la tierra; todos los montes altos que había debajo de todos los cielos quedaron cubiertos.

And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that were under the whole heaven were covered.

20 Q uince codos más alto subieron las aguas después que quedaron cubiertos los montes.

Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

21 Y murieron todos los seres que se mueven sobre la tierra, así las aves como el ganado y las bestias, y todo reptil que se arrastra sobre la tierra, y todo hombre.

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both birds, and cattle, and beasts, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

22 T odo lo que tenía aliento de espíritu de vida en sus narices, todo lo que había en la tierra, murió.

all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, of all that was on the dry land, died.

23 A sí fue destruido todo ser que vivía sobre la faz de la tierra, desde el hombre hasta la bestia, los reptiles y las aves del cielo; fueron borrados de la tierra. Solamente quedó Noé y los que con él estaban en el arca.

And every living thing was destroyed that was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only was left, and they that were with him in the ark.

24 Y permanecieron las aguas ciento cincuenta días sobre la tierra.

And the waters prevailed upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.
