1 D espués edificó Salomón su propia casa en trece años, y la terminó toda.

And Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

2 A simismo edificó la casa «Bosque del Líbano», de cien codos de longitud, cincuenta codos de anchura y treinta codos de altura, sobre cuatro hileras de columnas de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.

For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was a hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

3 H abía una cubierta de tablas de cedro sobre las vigas que se apoyaban en cuarenta y cinco columnas; cada hilera tenía quince columnas.

And it was covered with cedar above over the forty and five beams, that were upon the pillars; fifteen in a row.

4 Y había tres hileras de ventanas, una frente a la otra en tres hileras.

And there were beams in three rows, and window was over against window in three ranks.

5 T odas las puertas y los marcos tenían forma cuadrangular, y unas ventanas estaban frente a las otras en tres hileras.

And all the doors and posts were made square with beams: and window was over against window in three ranks.

6 T ambién hizo un pórtico de columnas, que tenía cincuenta codos de largo y treinta codos de ancho. Este pórtico estaba delante de las primeras, con sus columnas y maderos correspondientes.

And he made the porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits; and a porch before them; and pillars and a threshold before them.

7 H izo asimismo el pórtico del trono donde administraría justicia, el pórtico del juicio, y lo recubrió de cedro del suelo al techo.

And he made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.

8 L a casa donde él vivía, en otro atrio dentro del pórtico, era de una obra de estilo semejante a ésta. Edificó también Salomón para la hija del faraón, a la que había hecho su mujer, una casa de hechura semejante a la del pórtico.

And his house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter (whom Solomon had taken to wife), like unto this porch.

9 T odas aquellas obras eran de piedras selectas, cortadas y ajustadas con sierras según las medidas, así por dentro como por fuera, desde el cimiento hasta los remates, y asimismo por fuera hasta el gran atrio.

All these were of costly stones, even of hewn stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside unto the great court.

10 E l cimiento era de piedras seleccionadas, piedras grandes, piedras de diez codos y piedras de ocho codos.

And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.

11 D e allí hacia arriba era también de piedras costosas, labradas conforme a sus medidas, y madera de cedro.

And above were costly stones, even hewn stone, according to measure, and cedar-wood.

12 A lrededor del gran atrio había tres hileras de piedras labradas, y una hilera de vigas de cedro, igual que en el atrio interior de la casa de Jehová y el vestíbulo de la Casa. Salomón emplea a Hiram, de Tiro

And the great court round about had three courses of hewn stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and the porch of the house.

13 E l rey Salomón mandó a buscar de Tiro a Hiram,

And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.

14 h ijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí. Su padre, que trabajaba el bronce, era de Tiro. Hiram estaba lleno de sabiduría, inteligencia y ciencia para toda labor en bronce. Este, pues, se presentó ante el rey Salomón e hizo todas sus obras.

He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.

15 V ació dos columnas de bronce, cada una de dieciocho codos de altura y doce codos de circunferencia.

For he fashioned the two pillars of brass, eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits compassed either of them about.

16 H izo también dos capiteles de fundición de bronce, para que fueran puestos sobre las cabezas de las columnas. La altura de un capitel era de cinco codos, y la del otro capitel también de cinco codos.

And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.

17 H abía trenzas a manera de red y unos cordones a manera de cadenas, para los capiteles que se pondrían sobre las cabezas de las columnas; siete para cada capitel.

There were nets of checker-work, and wreaths of chain-work, for the capitals which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.

18 H izo también dos hileras de granadas alrededor de la red, para recubrir con ellas los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas; de la misma forma hizo en el otro capitel.

So he made the pillars; and there were two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars: and so did he for the other capital.

19 L os capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas en el pórtico tenían forma de lirios y eran de cuatro codos.

And the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily-work, four cubits.

20 L os capiteles de las dos columnas tenían también doscientas granadas en dos hileras alrededor de cada capitel, encima de su globo, el cual estaba rodeado por la red.

And there were capitals above also upon the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows round about upon the other capital.

21 E rigió estas columnas en el pórtico del Templo. Cuando alzó la columna del lado derecho le puso por nombre Jaquín, y cuando alzó la columna del lado izquierdo la llamó Boaz.

And he set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.

22 C olocó en las cabezas de las columnas un tallado en forma de lirios, y así se acabó la obra de las columnas. Mobiliario del Templo

And upon the top of the pillars was lily-work: so was the work of the pillars finished.

23 H izo fundir asimismo un mar de diez codos de un lado al otro, perfectamente redondo. Tenía cinco codos de altura y a su alrededor un cordón de treinta codos.

And he made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and the height thereof was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about.

24 R odeaban aquel mar por debajo de su borde, todo alrededor, unas bolas como calabazas, diez por cada codo, que ceñían el mar en dos filas, las cuales habían sido fundidas junto con el mar.

And under the brim of it round about there were knops which did compass it, for ten cubits, compassing the sea round about: the knops were in two rows, cast when it was cast.

25 D escansaba sobre doce bueyes, tres miraban al norte, tres miraban al occidente, tres miraban al sur, y tres miraban al oriente. Sobre ellos se apoyaba el mar, y estaban sus patas traseras hacia la parte de adentro.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set upon them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.

26 E l grosor del mar era de un palmo menor, y su borde estaba labrado como el borde de un cáliz o de una flor de lis; en él cabían dos mil batos.

And it was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.

27 H izo también diez basas de bronce, cada una de las cuales tenía cuatro codos de longitud, cuatro codos de anchura y tres codos la altura.

And he made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth thereof, and three cubits the height of it.

28 L as basas estaban hechas de esta manera: tenían unos tableros enmarcados entre molduras,

And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;

29 y sobre aquellos tableros que estaban entre molduras había figuras de leones, de bueyes y de querubines. Sobre las molduras de la basa, tanto encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas añadiduras de bajo relieve.

and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.

30 C ada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce, con ejes de bronce, y en sus cuatro esquinas había repisas de fundición que sobresalían de los festones, para venir a quedar debajo de la fuente.

And every base had four brazen wheels, and axles of brass; and the four feet thereof had undersetters: beneath the laver were the undersetters molten, with wreaths at the side of each.

31 L a boca de la fuente entraba un codo en el remate que salía hacia arriba de la basa. La boca era redonda, de la misma hechura del remate, que era de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus tableros, los cuales eran cuadrados, no redondos.

And the mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit: and the mouth thereof was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also upon the mouth of it were gravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.

32 L as cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de los tableros, y los ejes de las ruedas nacían en la misma basa. La altura de cada rueda era de un codo y medio.

And the four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axletrees of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.

33 L a forma de las ruedas era como la de las ruedas de un carro; sus ejes, sus rayos, sus cubos y sus cinchos, todo era de fundición.

And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their felloes, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.

34 A simismo las cuatro repisas de las cuatro esquinas de cada basa; las repisas eran parte de la misma basa.

And there were four undersetters at the four corners of each base: the undersetters thereof were of the base itself.

35 E n lo alto de la basa había una pieza redonda de medio codo de altura, y encima de la basa sus molduras y tableros, los cuales salían de ella misma.

And in the top of the base was there a round compass half a cubit high; and on the top of the base the stays thereof and the panels thereof were of the same.

36 G rabó en las tablas de las molduras, y en los tableros, entalladuras de querubines, de leones y de palmeras, proporcionalmente al espacio de cada una, y otros adornos alrededor.

And on the plates of the stays thereof, and on the panels thereof, he graved cherubim, lions, and palm-trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths round about.

37 D e esta forma hizo diez basas, fundidas de una misma manera, de una misma medida y de una misma entalladura.

After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.

38 H izo también diez fuentes de bronce. Cada fuente contenía cuarenta batos, y cada una era de cuatro codos. Y colocó una fuente sobre cada una de las diez basas.

And he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths; and every laver was four cubits; and upon very one of the ten bases one laver.

39 P uso cinco basas a la mano derecha de la Casa y las otras cinco a la mano izquierda, y el mar al lado derecho de la Casa, hacia el sudeste.

And he set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.

40 A simismo hizo Hiram fuentes, tenazas y cuencos. Así terminó toda la obra que hizo a Salomón para la casa de Jehová:

And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he wrought for king Solomon in the house of Jehovah:

41 d os columnas y los capiteles redondos que estaban en lo alto de las dos columnas; dos redes que recubrían los dos capiteles redondos que estaban sobre la cabeza de las columnas;

the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;

42 c uatrocientas granadas para las dos redes, dos hileras de granadas en cada red, para recubrir los dos capiteles redondos que estaban sobre las cabezas de las columnas;

and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars;

43 l as diez basas y las diez fuentes sobre las basas;

and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;

44 u n mar, con doce bueyes debajo del mar;

and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;

45 c alderos, paletas y cuencos. Todos estos utensilios que Hiram hizo al rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová eran de bronce bruñido.

and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of Jehovah, were of burnished brass.

46 T odo lo hizo fundir el rey en la llanura del Jordán, en tierra arcillosa, entre Sucot y Saretán.

In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.

47 Y no preguntó Salomón sobre el peso del bronce de todos los utensilios por la gran cantidad de ellos.

And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.

48 E ntonces hizo Salomón todos los enseres que pertenecían a la casa de Jehová: un altar de oro y una mesa también de oro, sobre la cual estaban los panes de la proposición;

And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of Jehovah: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the showbread was, of gold;

49 c inco candelabros de oro purísimo a la mano derecha, y otros cinco a la izquierda, frente al Lugar santísimo, con las flores, las lámparas y tenazas de oro.

and the candlesticks, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;

50 A simismo los cántaros, despabiladeras, tazas, cucharillas e incensarios, de oro purísimo; también eran de oro los quiciales de las puertas de la casa de adentro, del Lugar santísimo, y los de las puertas del Templo.

and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the firepans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple, of gold.

51 A sí se terminó toda la obra que dispuso hacer el rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová. Salomón llevó lo que su padre David había dedicado, la plata, el oro y los otros utensilios, y lo depositó todo en las tesorerías de la casa de Jehová.

Thus all the work that king Solomon wrought in the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
