1 » Si alguien es llamado a testificar por ser testigo de algo que vio o supo, y no lo denuncia, comete pecado y cargará con la culpa.

And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

2 » Asimismo la persona que haya tocado cualquier cosa inmunda, sea cadáver de bestia inmunda, o cadáver de animal inmundo, o cadáver de reptil inmundo, aunque no lo sepa, será impura y habrá pecado.

Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty.

3 » Si alguien toca cualquiera de las inmundicias humanas que lo pueden hacer impuro, sin darse cuenta, y después llega a saberlo, será culpable.

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever his uncleanness be wherewith he is unclean, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.

4 » Si alguien jura a la ligera con sus labios hacer mal o hacer bien, en cualquier cosa que el hombre acostumbra a jurar, y él no lo entiende, si después lo entiende, será culpable por cualquiera de estas cosas.

Or if any one swear rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall utter rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these things.

5 » Cuando peque en alguna de estas cosas, confesará aquello en que pecó,

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned:

6 y para su expiación presentará a Jehová, como ofrenda de expiación por el pecado que cometió, una hembra de los rebaños, una cordera o una cabra. Así le hará el sacerdote expiación por su pecado.

and he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.

7 » Y si no tiene lo suficiente para un cordero, presentará a Jehová, como expiación por el pecado que cometió, dos tórtolas o dos palominos, uno para la expiación y el otro para un holocausto.

And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass-offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.

8 L os llevará al sacerdote, el cual ofrecerá primero el destinado a la expiación; le arrancará de su cuello la cabeza, pero no la separará por completo.

And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

9 L uego rociará de la sangre de la expiación sobre un lado del altar, y lo que sobre de la sangre lo exprimirá al pie del altar. Es un sacrificio de expiación.

and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin-offering.

10 C on el otro hará un holocausto conforme al rito. Así hará el sacerdote expiación por el pecado en favor de aquel que lo cometió, y será perdonado.

And he shall offer the second for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

11 » Pero si no tiene lo suficiente para dos tórtolas o dos palominos, el que pecó presentará como ofrenda por el pecado la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina. No pondrá sobre ella aceite, ni sobre ella pondrá incienso, pues es un sacrificio de expiación.

But if his means suffice not for two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his oblation for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.

12 L a llevará entonces al sacerdote, el cual tomará de ella un puñado como memorial, y la hará arder en el altar sobre las ofrendas quemadas a Jehová. Es un sacrificio de expiación.

And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: it is a sin-offering.

13 E l sacerdote hará expiación por él, a causa del pecado que cometió en alguna de estas cosas, y será perdonado. Lo que sobre será del sacerdote, como en la ofrenda de oblación.» Ofrendas expiatorias

And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as the meal-offering.

14 H abló Jehová a Moisés y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

15 « Si alguna persona comete una falta y peca involuntariamente en las cosas santas de Jehová, presentará por su culpa a Jehová un carnero de los rebaños, sin defecto, valorado en siclos de plata, según el siclo del santuario, como ofrenda por el pecado.

If any one commit a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of Jehovah; then he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering:

16 R estituirá lo que haya defraudado de las cosas santas, añadirá a ello la quinta parte, y lo dará al sacerdote. Luego el sacerdote hará expiación por él con el carnero del sacrificio por el pecado, y será perdonado.

and he shall make restitution for that which he hath done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and he shall be forgiven.

17 » Finalmente, si una persona peca, o hace alguna de todas aquellas cosas que por mandamiento de Jehová no se han de hacer, aun sin hacerlo a sabiendas, es culpable y llevará su pecado.

And if any one sin, and do any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done; though he knew it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

18 L levará, pues, al sacerdote para la expiación, según tú lo estimes, un carnero sin defecto de los rebaños; y el sacerdote le hará expiación por el pecado que cometió por ignorancia, y será perdonado.

And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation, for a trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing wherein he erred unwittingly and knew it not, and he shall be forgiven.

19 E s una infracción, y ciertamente pecó contra Jehová.»

It is a trespass-offering: he is certainly guilty before Jehovah.
