1 » No entrará en la congregación de Jehová el que tenga magullados los testículos o amputado su miembro viril.

He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

2 » No entrará el bastardo en la congregación de Jehová; ni aun en la décima generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová.

A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

3 » No entrará el amonita ni el moabita en la congregación de Jehová, ni siquiera en su décima generación; no entrarán nunca en la congregación de Jehová,

An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of Jehovah for ever:

4 p or cuanto no se adelantaron a recibiros con pan y agua al camino cuando salisteis de Egipto, y porque alquilaron contra ti a Balaam hijo de Beor, de Petor, en Mesopotamia, para maldecirte.

because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

5 P ero no quiso Jehová, tu Dios, oír a Balaam; y Jehová, tu Dios, cambió la maldición en bendición, porque Jehová, tu Dios, te amaba.

Nevertheless Jehovah thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.

6 N o procurarás su paz ni su bien mientras vivas, y esto para siempre.

Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

7 » No aborrecerás al edomita, porque es tu hermano; no aborrecerás al egipcio, porque forastero fuiste en su tierra.

Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, because thou wast a sojourner in his land.

8 L os hijos que nazcan de ellos, en la tercera generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová. Leyes sanitarias

The children of the third generation that are born unto them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

9 » Cuando salgas a una campaña contra tus enemigos, te guardarás de toda cosa mala.

When thou goest forth in camp against thine enemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing.

10 S i hay en medio de ti alguien que no sea limpio, por razón de alguna impureza acontecida de noche, saldrá fuera del campamento y no entrará en él.

If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

11 P ero al caer la noche se lavará con agua, y cuando se haya puesto el sol, podrá entrar en el campamento.

but it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.

12 » Tendrás un lugar fuera del campamento para hacer tus necesidades.

Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

13 T endrás también, como parte de tu equipo, una estaca, y cuando estés allí fuera, cavarás con ella, y luego te volverás para cubrir tus excrementos.

and thou shalt have a paddle among thy weapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

14 P orque Jehová, tu Dios, anda en medio de tu campamento, para librarte y para entregar a tus enemigos delante de ti; por tanto, tu campamento ha de ser santo, para que él no vea en ti ninguna cosa inmunda y se aparte de ti. Leyes humanitarias

for Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

15 » No entregarás a su señor el siervo que huye de él y acude a ti.

Thou shalt not deliver unto his master a servant that is escaped from his master unto thee:

16 H abitará contigo, en medio de ti, en el lugar que escoja en alguna de tus ciudades, donde tenga a bien; no lo oprimirás.

he shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it pleaseth him best: thou shalt not oppress him.

17 » No haya ramera entre las hijas de Israel, ni haya sodomita de entre los hijos de Israel.

There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

18 N o traerás la paga de una ramera ni el precio de un perro a la casa de Jehová, tu Dios, por ningún voto, porque abominable es para Jehová, tu Dios, tanto lo uno como lo otro.

Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination unto Jehovah thy God.

19 » No exigirás de tu hermano interés por el dinero, ni por los comestibles, ni por cosa alguna de la que se suele exigir interés.

Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother; interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest:

20 D el extraño podrás exigir interés, pero de tu hermano no lo exigirás, para que te bendiga Jehová, tu Dios, en toda la obra de tus manos, en la tierra adonde vas a entrar para tomarla en posesión.

unto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon interest; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon interest, that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thy hand unto, in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.

21 » Cuando hagas voto a Jehová, tu Dios, no tardes en pagarlo, porque ciertamente te lo demandará Jehová, tu Dios, y cargarías con un pecado.

When thou shalt vow a vow unto Jehovah thy God, thou shalt not be slack to pay it: for Jehovah thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

22 S i te abstienes de prometer, no habrá en ti pecado.

But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

23 P ero lo que haya salido de tus labios, lo guardarás y lo cumplirás, conforme lo prometiste a Jehová, tu Dios, pagando la ofrenda voluntaria que prometiste con tu boca.

That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed unto Jehovah thy God, a freewill-offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

24 » Cuando entres en la viña de tu prójimo, podrás comer uvas hasta saciarte, pero no pondrás ninguna en tu cesto.

When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat of grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

25 C uando entres en la mies de tu prójimo, podrás arrancar espigas con tu mano, pero no aplicarás la hoz a la mies de tu prójimo.

When thou comest into thy neighbor's standing grain, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing grain.
