1 D espués me mostró un río limpio, de agua de vida, resplandeciente como cristal, que fluía del trono de Dios y del Cordero.

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

2 E n medio de la calle de la ciudad y a uno y otro lado del río estaba el árbol de la vida, que produce doce frutos, dando cada mes su fruto; y las hojas del árbol eran para la sanidad de las naciones.

in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 Y no habrá más maldición. El trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en ella, sus siervos lo servirán,

And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;

4 v erán su rostro y su nombre estará en sus frentes.

and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.

5 A llí no habrá más noche; y no tienen necesidad de luz de lámpara ni de luz del sol, porque Dios el Señor los iluminará y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos. La venida de Cristo está cerca

And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

6 M e dijo: «Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. El Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas, ha enviado su ángel para mostrar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto.

And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

7 » ¡Vengo pronto! Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro.»

And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.

8 Y o, Juan, soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Después que las hube oído y visto, me postré a los pies del ángel que me mostraba estas cosas, para adorarlo.

And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.

9 P ero él me dijo: «¡Mira, no lo hagas!, pues yo soy consiervo tuyo, de tus hermanos los profetas y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro. ¡Adora a Dios!»

And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.

10 Y me dijo: «No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro, porque el tiempo está cerca.

And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.

11 E l que es injusto, sea injusto todavía; el que es impuro, sea impuro todavía; el que es justo, practique la justicia todavía, y el que es santo, santifíquese más todavía.

He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.

12 » ¡Vengo pronto!, y mi galardón conmigo, para recompensar a cada uno según sea su obra.

Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.

13 Y o soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin, el primero y el último.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

14 » Bienaventurados los que lavan sus ropas para tener derecho al árbol de la vida y para entrar por las puertas en la ciudad.

Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

15 P ero los perros estarán afuera, y los hechiceros, los fornicarios, los homicidas, los idólatras y todo aquel que ama y practica la mentira.

Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

16 » Yo, Jesús, he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y el linaje de David, la estrella resplandeciente de la mañana.»

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.

17 E l Espíritu y la Esposa dicen: «¡Ven!» El que oye, diga: «¡Ven!» Y el que tiene sed, venga. El que quiera, tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

18 Y o advierto a todo aquel que oye las palabras de la profecía de este libro: Si alguno añade a estas cosas, Dios traerá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este libro.

I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:

19 Y si alguno quita de las palabras del libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del libro de la vida y de la santa ciudad y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro.

and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

20 E l que da testimonio de estas cosas dice: «Ciertamente vengo en breve.» ¡Amén! ¡Ven, Señor Jesús!

He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.

21 L a gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
