1 L uego me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué, el cual estaba delante del ángel de Jehová, mientras el Satán estaba a su mano derecha para acusarlo.

And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Jehovah, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.

2 E ntonces dijo Jehová al Satán: «¡Jehová te reprenda, Satán! ¡Jehová, que ha escogido a Jerusalén, te reprenda! ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?»

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Jehovah rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, Jehovah that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 J osué, que estaba cubierto de vestiduras viles, permanecía en pie delante del ángel.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

4 H abló el ángel y ordenó a los que estaban delante de él: «Quitadle esas vestiduras viles.» Y a él dijo: «Mira que he quitado de ti tu pecado y te he hecho vestir de ropas de gala.»

And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel.

5 D espués dijo: «Pongan un turbante limpio sobre su cabeza.» Pusieron un turbante limpio sobre su cabeza y lo vistieron de gala. Y el ángel de Jehová seguía en pie.

And I said, Let them set a clean mitre upon his head. So they set a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of Jehovah was standing by.

6 D espués el ángel de Jehová amonestó a Josué diciéndole:

And the angel of Jehovah protested unto Joshua, saying,

7 « Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: »Si andas por mis caminos y si guardas mi ordenanza, entonces tú gobernarás mi Casa y guardarás mis atrios, y entre estos que aquí están te daré lugar.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by.

8 E scucha pues, ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti, pues sois como una señal profética: Yo traigo a mi siervo, el Renuevo.

Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.

9 M irad la piedra que puse delante de Josué: es única y tiene siete ojos. Yo mismo grabaré su inscripción, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré en un solo día el pecado de la tierra.

For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 E n aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros convidará a su compañero, debajo de su vid y debajo de su higuera.»

In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree.
