1 C uando pasó el sábado, María Magdalena, María la madre de Jacobo, y Salomé, compraron especias aromáticas para ir a ungirlo.

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2 M uy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, vinieron al sepulcro, recién salido el sol.

And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.

3 P ero decían entre sí: —¿Quién nos removerá la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro?

And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

4 P ero cuando miraron, vieron removida la piedra, aunque era muy grande.

and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.

5 Y cuando entraron en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado al lado derecho, cubierto de una larga ropa blanca, y se asustaron.

And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.

6 P ero él les dijo: —No os asustéis; buscáis a Jesús nazareno, el que fue crucificado. Ha resucitado, no está aquí; mirad el lugar en donde lo pusieron.

And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

7 P ero id, decid a sus discípulos, y a Pedro, que él va delante de vosotros a Galilea; allí lo veréis, como os dijo.

But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

8 E llas salieron huyendo del sepulcro, porque les había entrado temblor y espanto; y no dijeron nada a nadie, porque tenían miedo. Jesús se aparece a María Magdalena

And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

9 H abiendo, pues, resucitado Jesús por la mañana, el primer día de la semana, apareció primeramente a María Magdalena, de quien había echado siete demonios.

Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

10 Y endo ella, lo hizo saber a los que habían estado con él, los cuales estaban tristes y llorando.

She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

11 E llos, cuando oyeron que vivía y que había sido visto por ella, no lo creyeron. Jesús se aparece a dos de sus discípulos

And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.

12 P ero después apareció en otra forma a dos de ellos que iban de camino al campo.

And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

13 E llos fueron y lo hicieron saber a los otros; y ni aun a ellos les creyeron. Jesús comisiona a los apóstoles

And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

14 F inalmente se apareció a los once mismos, estando ellos sentados a la mesa, y les reprochó su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que lo habían visto resucitado.

And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

15 Y les dijo: —Id por todo el mundo y predicad el evangelio a toda criatura.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

16 E l que crea y sea bautizado, será salvo; pero el que no crea, será condenado.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

17 E stas señales seguirán a los que creen: En mi nombre echarán fuera demonios, hablarán nuevas lenguas,

And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 t omarán serpientes en las manos y, aunque beban cosa mortífera, no les hará daño; sobre los enfermos pondrán sus manos, y sanarán. La ascensión

they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 Y el Señor, después que les habló, fue recibido arriba en el cielo y se sentó a la diestra de Dios.

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

20 E llos, saliendo, predicaron en todas partes, ayudándolos el Señor y confirmando la palabra con las señales que la acompañaban. Amén.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
