1 P asado el sábado, María la Magdalena, María la madre de Jacobo, y Salomé compraron especias aromáticas para ir a embalsamarle.

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2 Y muy de madrugada, el primer día de la semana, llegan al sepulcro cuando había salido el sol.

And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.

3 Y se decían unas a otras: ¿Quién nos hará rodar la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro?

And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

4 P ero alzando los ojos, observan que la piedra ha sido ya retirada; y eso que era grande en demasía.

and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.

5 Y entrando en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado en el lado derecho, vestido con una túnica blanca, y quedaron atónitas de espanto.

And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.

6 P ero él les dice: Dejad de asustaros. Estáis buscando a Jesús Nazareno, el crucificado; ha resucitado; no está aquí; mirad el lugar donde le pusieron.

And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

7 P ero id, decid a sus discípulos y a Pedro: Va delante de vosotros a Galilea; allí le veréis, conforme os dijo.

But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

8 E llas salieron y huyeron del sepulcro, pues se había apoderado de ellas un gran temblor y espanto; y no dijeron nada a nadie, porque tenían miedo. El Señor Jesús se aparece a María Magdalena

And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

9 E n la madrugada del primer día de la semana, resucitó y se apareció primero a María Magdalena, de la que había arrojado siete demonios.

Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

10 E lla fue a anunciarlo a los que habían estado con él, que estaban de duelo y llorando.

She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

11 E llos, al oír que está vivo y que ella lo ha visto, no lo creyeron. El Señor se aparece a dos de sus discípulos

And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.

12 D espués de esto, fue manifestado bajo diferente forma a dos de ellos que iban de camino hacia la campiña.

And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

13 E llos fueron y lo comunicaron a los demás; tampoco a éstos les creyeron. El Señor comisiona a los apóstoles

And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

14 P or último, fue manifestado a los once, estando ellos sentados a la mesa, y les echó en cara su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, por no haber creído a los que le habían visto después de haber resucitado.

And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

15 Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo y proclamad el evangelio a toda criatura.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

16 E l que crea y sea bautizado, será salvo; pero el que no crea, será condenado.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

17 Y estas señales acompañarán a los que crean: En mi nombre expulsarán demonios, hablarán en nuevas lenguas,

And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 t omarán serpientes en sus manos, y si beben algo mortífero, no les hará ningún daño; impondrán las manos sobre los enfermos, y sanarán. La ascensión

they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 Y así, el Señor Jesús, después de hablarles, fue recibido arriba en el cielo, y se sentó a la diestra de Dios.

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

20 Y ellos, salieron y predicaron en todas partes, colaborando el Señor con ellos y confirmando la palabra por medio de las señales que la acompañaban.

And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
