1 G uárdame, oh Dios, porque en ti he confiado.

Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge.

2 O h alma mía, dijiste a Jehová: Tú eres mi Señor; No hay para mí bien fuera de ti.

O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord: I have no good beyond thee.

3 P ara los santos que están en la tierra, Y para los íntegros, es toda mi complacencia.

As for the saints that are in the earth, They are the excellent in whom is all my delight.

4 S e multiplicarán los dolores de aquellos que sirven diligentes a otros dioses. No ofreceré yo sus libaciones de sangre, Ni en mis labios tomaré sus nombres.

Their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts for another god: Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, Nor take their names upon my lips.

5 J ehová es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa; Tú garantizas mi suerte.

Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot.

6 L as cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos, Y es hermosa la heredad que me ha tocado.

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage.

7 B endeciré a Jehová que me aconseja; Aun en las noches me enseña mi conciencia.

I will bless Jehovah, who hath given me counsel; Yea, my heart instructeth me in the night seasons.

8 A Jehová he puesto siempre delante de mí; Porque está a mi diestra, no seré zarandeado.

I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9 S e alegró por tanto mi corazón, y se gozó mi alma; Mi carne también reposará confiadamente;

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; My flesh also shall dwell in safety.

10 P orque no dejarás mi alma en el Seol, Ni permitirás que tu santo vea corrupción.

For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

11 M e mostrarás la senda de la vida; En tu presencia hay plenitud de gozo; Delicias a tu diestra para siempre.

Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
