1 D esde lo profundo, oh Jehová, a ti clamo.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.

2 S eñor, escucha mi voz; Estén atentos tus oídos A la voz de mi súplica.

Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

3 J AH, si miras a los pecados, ¿Quién, oh Señor, podrá mantenerse en pie?

If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

4 P ero en ti hay perdón, Para que seas reverenciado.

But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.

5 E spero yo en Jehová, espera mi alma; Pendiente estoy de su palabra.

I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.

6 M i alma aguarda al Señor Más que los centinelas a la mañana, Más que los vigilantes a la aurora.

My soul waiteth for the Lord More than watchmen wait for the morning; Yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 E spere Israel a Jehová, Porque con Jehová está la misericordia, Y abundante redención con él;

O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.

8 Y él redimirá a Israel De todos sus pecados.

And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
