1 E n el primer año de Ciro, rey de Persia, para que se cumpliese la palabra de Jehová por boca de Jeremías, movió Jehová el espíritu de Ciro, rey de Persia, el cual hizo pregonar de palabra y también por escrito por todo su reino, diciendo:

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Jehovah by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

2 A sí ha dicho Ciro, rey de Persia: Jehová el Dios de los cielos me ha dado todos los reinos de la tierra, y me ha mandado que le edifique casa en Jerusalén, que está en Judá.

Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, the God of heaven, given me; and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

3 Q uien de entre vosotros pertenezca a su pueblo, sea Dios con él, y suba a Jerusalén que está en Judá, y edifique la casa a Jehová, Dios de Israel, el Dios que habita en Jerusalén.

Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.

4 Y a todo el que haya quedado, en cualquier lugar donde more, ayúdenle los hombres de su lugar con plata, oro, bienes y ganados, además de ofrendas voluntarias para la casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. El regreso a Jerusalén

And whosoever is left, in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, besides the freewill-offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

5 E ntonces se levantaron los jefes de las casas paternas de Judá y de Benjamín, y los sacerdotes y levitas, todos aquellos cuyo espíritu despertó Dios para subir a edificar la casa de Jehová, que está en Jerusalén.

Then rose up the heads of fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, even all whose spirit God had stirred to go up to build the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem.

6 Y todos sus vecinos les ayudaron con plata y oro, con bienes y ganado, y con cosas preciosas, además de todo lo que se ofreció voluntariamente.

And all they that were round about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

7 Y el rey Ciro mandó sacar los utensilios de la casa de Jehová, que Nabucodonosor había sacado de Jerusalén, y los había puesto en la casa de sus dioses.

Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put in the house of his gods;

8 L os sacó, pues, Ciro, rey de Persia, por mano de Mitrídates tesorero, el cual los dio por cuenta a Sesbasar príncipe de Judá.

even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

9 Y esta es la cuenta de ellos: treinta tazones de oro, mil tazones de plata, veintinueve cuchillos,

And this is the number of them: thirty platters of gold, a thousand platters of silver, nine and twenty knives,

10 t reinta tazas de oro, otras cuatrocientas diez tazas de plata, y otros mil utensilios.

thirty bowls of gold, silver bowls of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

11 T odos los utensilios de oro y de plata eran cinco mil cuatrocientos. Todos los hizo llevar Sesbasar con los que subieron del cautiverio de Babilonia a Jerusalén.

All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up, when they of the captivity were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
