1 L a maldad habla al corazón del impío; en su opinión, no hay por qué temer a Dios.

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

2 V ive halagándose a sí mismo, seguro de que su maldad no es condenable.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

3 S us palabras son malvadas y fraudulentas; dejó de ser sabio y de practicar el bien.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

4 A un acostado hace planes malvados; va por el mal camino, y disfruta de su maldad.

He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

5 P ero tu misericordia, Señor, llega a los cielos; ¡tu fidelidad se extiende hasta las nubes!

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

6 T u justicia es como las grandes montañas; tus sentencias son como el mar profundo; ¡tú, Señor, cuidas de hombres y animales!

Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.

7 D ios mío, ¡cuán preciosa es tu misericordia! ¡La humanidad se acoge a la sombra de tus alas!

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

8 E n tu templo se sacian de ricos alimentos; tú apagas su sed en un río de aguas deliciosas.

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

9 E n ti se halla el manantial de la vida, y por tu luz podemos ver la luz.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

10 M uestra tu misericordia a los que te conocen; muestra tu justicia a los de recto corazón.

O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 N o dejes que los soberbios me aplasten, ni que el poder de los impíos me sacuda.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

12 V ean allí, caídos, a los que practican el mal; ¡rodaron por el suelo, y no volvieron a levantarse!

There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
