Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

2 « En el momento en que yo decida, habré de juzgar con rectitud.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

3 A unque la tierra y sus habitantes se estremezcan, Yo sostengo sus columnas.

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 A los insensatos les digo: “No sean arrogantes”, y a los impíos: “No sean orgullosos;

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 n o hagan alarde de su poder; no levanten tanto la nariz.”

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 E l juicio no viene del este ni del oeste, ni del desierto ni de las montañas:

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 E l juicio proviene de mí, que soy Dios. A unos humillo, y a otros enaltezco.

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 Y a el cáliz del juicio está en mi mano; ya el vino mezclado se ha fermentado, y yo, el Señor, estoy por derramarlo; ¡todos los impíos de la tierra lo beberán hasta el fondo!»

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

9 Y o siempre hablaré de ti, te cantaré salmos, Dios de Jacob.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 T ú deshaces todo el poder de los pecadores, pero exaltas la fuerza de los hombres justos.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
