1 P raise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.

(146-1) ^^Аллилуия.^^ Хвалите Господа, ибо благо петь Богу нашему, ибо это сладостно, --хвала подобающая.

2 T he Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

(146-2) Господь созидает Иерусалим, собирает изгнанников Израиля.

3 H e heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

(146-3) Он исцеляет сокрушенных сердцем и врачует скорби их;

4 H e counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them.

(146-4) исчисляет количество звезд; всех их называет именами их.

5 G reat is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

(146-5) Велик Господь наш и велика крепость, и разум Его неизмерим.

6 T he Lord supports the afflicted; He brings down the wicked to the ground.

(146-6) Смиренных возвышает Господь, а нечестивых унижает до земли.

7 S ing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God on the lyre,

(146-7) Пойте поочередно славословие Господу; пойте Богу нашему на гуслях.

8 W ho covers the heavens with clouds, Who provides rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

(146-8) Он покрывает небо облаками, приготовляет для земли дождь, произращает на горах траву;

9 H e gives to the beast its food, And to the young ravens which cry.

(146-9) дает скоту пищу его и птенцам ворона, взывающим.

10 H e does not delight in the strength of the horse; He does not take pleasure in the legs of a man.

(146-10) Не на силу коня смотрит Он, не к ног человеческих благоволит, --

11 T he Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His lovingkindness.

(146-11) благоволит Господь к боящимся Его, к уповающим на милость Его.

12 P raise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!

(147-1) Хвали, Иерусалим, Господа; хвали, Сион, Бога твоего,

13 F or He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.

(147-2) ибо Он укрепляет вереи ворот твоих, благословляет сынов твоих среди тебя;

14 H e makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.

(147-3) утверждает в пределах твоих мир; туком пшеницы насыщает тебя;

15 H e sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.

(147-4) посылает слово Свое на землю; быстро течет слово Его;

16 H e gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.

(147-5) дает снег, как волну; сыплет иней, как пепел;

17 H e casts forth His ice as fragments; Who can stand before His cold?

(147-6) бросает град Свой кусками; перед морозом Его кто устоит?

18 H e sends forth His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.

(147-7) Пошлет слово Свое, и все растает; подует ветром Своим, и потекут воды.

19 H e declares His words to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances to Israel.

(147-8) Он возвестил слово Свое Иакову, уставы Свои и суды Свои Израилю.

20 H e has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!

(147-9) Не сделал Он того никакому народу, и судов Его они не знают. Аллилуия.
