Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty,

Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak, Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.

3 W axa qolkaaga saqafka u hayana waxaad dhigtaa biyaha dhexdooda, Daruurahana waxaad ka dhigataa gaadhifaras, Oo waxaad ku kor socotaa dabaysha baalasheeda,

He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters; He makes the clouds His chariot; He walks upon the wings of the wind;

4 W axaad dabaysha ka dhigataa wargeeyayaashaada, Oo waxaad midiidinyadaada ka dhigataa dab ololaya,

He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers.

5 A digaa dhigay aasaaska dhulka, Si aanu weligiis u dhaqdhaqaaqin.

He established the earth upon its foundations, So that it will not totter forever and ever.

6 W axaad ku dabooshay mool sidii dhar oo kale, Biyihiina waxay joogsadeen buuraha korkooda.

You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters were standing above the mountains.

7 C anaantaadii ayay ku carareen, Oo codkii onkodkaaga ayay haddiiba ka baxsadeen,

At Your rebuke they fled, At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.

8 W axay kor u fuuleen buuraha, oo waxay hoos ugu dhaadheceen dooxooyinka, Ilaa meeshii aad u samaysay.

The mountains rose; the valleys sank down To the place which You established for them.

9 W axaad iyaga u dhigtay xudduud aanay soo dhaafin, Si aanay mar kale u noqon oo aanay dhulka u daboolin.

You set a boundary that they may not pass over, So that they will not return to cover the earth.

10 I sagu dooxooyinka wuxuu ku soo daayaa ilo, Iyana waxay durduraan buuraha dhexdooda,

He sends forth springs in the valleys; They flow between the mountains;

11 W axay waraabiyaan xayawaanka duurka jooga oo dhan, Oo dameerdibadeedyaduna way harraad beelaan.

They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst.

12 H aadda samadu iyagay ag degganaadaan, Oo waxay ka dhex gabyaan laamaha.

Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; They lift up their voices among the branches.

13 B uuraha wuxuu ka waraabiyaa qolalkiisa, Dhulkuna wuxuu ka dheregsan yahay midhihii shuqulladaada.

He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.

14 I sagu wuxuu ka dhigaa in dooggu xoolaha u soo baxo, Oo geedaha yaryarna wuxuu u soo bixiyey in dadku ku isticmaalo, Inuu dhulka cunto ka soo bixiyo,

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the labor of man, So that he may bring forth food from the earth,

15 I yo khamri ka farxiya dadka qalbigiisa, Iyo saliid uu wejiga ku dhaashado, Iyo kibis qalbiga dadka xoogaysa.

And wine which makes man’s heart glad, So that he may make his face glisten with oil, And food which sustains man’s heart.

16 R abbiga dhirtiisu waa dheregsan tahay, Kuwaas oo ah geedaha kedar la yidhaahdo oo Lubnaan oo uu isagu beeray,

The trees of the Lord drink their fill, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,

17 K uwaas oo ah meesha shimbirruhu buulkooda ay ka samaystaan, Xuurtuna gurigeeda waxay ka kor dhisataa geedaha waaweyn.

Where the birds build their nests, And the stork, whose home is the fir trees.

18 B uuraha dhaadheer waxaa leh riyaha dibadda, Dhagaxyada waaweynuna waxay gabbaad u yihiin walooyinka.

The high mountains are for the wild goats; The cliffs are a refuge for the shephanim.

19 I sagu dayaxa wuxuu u sameeyey xilliyo, Oo qorraxduna dhicitinkeeda way taqaan.

He made the moon for the seasons; The sun knows the place of its setting.

20 W axaad samaysaa gudcur, oo habeen baa yimaada, Markaasay xayawaanka duurku soo wada baxaan.

You appoint darkness and it becomes night, In which all the beasts of the forest prowl about.

21 L ibaaxyada aaranka ahu waxay u ciyaan ugaadhsigooda, Cuntadoodana waxay ka sugaan xagga Ilaah.

The young lions roar after their prey And seek their food from God.

22 O o kolkii qorraxdu soo baxdana way noqdaan, Oo waxay iska seexdaan godadkooda.

When the sun rises they withdraw And lie down in their dens.

23 D adku waa u soo baxaa shuqulkiisa Iyo hawshiisa ilaa tan iyo fiidka.

Man goes forth to his work And to his labor until evening.

24 R abbiyow, shuqulladaadu tiro badanaa! Kulligoodna xigmad baad ku samaysay, Dhulka waxaa ka buuxa hodantinimadaada.

O Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.

25 H alkoo waxaa ku taal bad weyn oo ballaadhan, Gudaheedana waxaa ku jira waxyaalo gurguurta oo aan la tirin karin, Iyo xayawaan waaweyn iyo kuwo yaryarba.

There is the sea, great and broad, In which are swarms without number, Animals both small and great.

26 H alkaas waxaa ku socda doonniyo, Oo waxaa halkaas yaal bahal badeed oo Lewiiyaataan la odhan jiray oo aad u abuurtay inuu ku dhex cayaaro.

There the ships move along, And Leviathan, which You have formed to sport in it.

27 K uwaas oo dhammu adigay kaa sugaan, Inaad cuntadooda siiso wakhti ku habboon.

They all wait for You To give them their food in due season.

28 O o waxaad iyaga siiso ayay isu soo urursadaan, Gacantaadaad furtaa oo waxay ka dhergaan waxyaalo wanaagsan.

You give to them, they gather it up; You open Your hand, they are satisfied with good.

29 W ejigaagaad qarisaa, oo way dhibtoodaan, Naftoodaad ka qaaddaa oo way dhintaan, Oo waxay ku noqdaan ciiddoodii.

You hide Your face, they are dismayed; You take away their spirit, they expire And return to their dust.

30 W axaad soo dirtaa ruuxaaga, kolkaasay iyagu abuurmaan, Dhulkana waad cusboonaysiisaa.

You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the ground.

31 R abbiga ammaantiisu ha sii raagto weligeedba, Oo Rabbigu ha ku reyreeyo shuqulladiisa.

Let the glory of the Lord endure forever; Let the Lord be glad in His works;

32 I sagu dhulkuu eegaa, oo wuu gariiraa, Wuxuu taabtaa buuraha, oo way qiiqaan.

He looks at the earth, and it trembles; He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

33 I ntaan noolahay oo dhan ayaan Rabbiga u gabyi doonaa, Oo Ilaahay ayaan ammaan ugu gabyi doonaa intaan jiro oo dhan.

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 F ikirkaygu isaga ha u macaanaado, Rabbigaan ku rayrayn doonaa.

Let my meditation be pleasing to Him; As for me, I shall be glad in the Lord.

35 D embilayaashu dhulka ha ka baabbe'een, Oo kuwa sharka lahuna yaanay mar dambe sii jirin. Naftaydoy, Rabbiga ammaan. Rabbiga ammaana.

Let sinners be consumed from the earth And let the wicked be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise the Lord!
