1 M arkaasaa dadkoodii oo dhan kacay, oo waxay isagii hor geeyeen Bilaatos.

Then the whole body of them got up and brought Him before Pilate.

2 K olkaasay bilaabeen inay ku ashtakeeyaan iyagoo leh, Waxaannu aragnay ninkan oo quruuntayada rogaya, oo diidaya in Kaysar cashuur la siiyo, oo odhanaya inuu qudhiisu yahay Masiix oo boqor ah.

And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

3 B ilaatos ayaa weyddiiyey, isagoo leh, Ma Boqorka Yuhuudda baad tahay? Wuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Waad tidhi.

So Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And He answered him and said, “ It is as you say.”

4 D abadeed Bilaatos wuxuu wadaaddadii sare iyo dadkii ku yidhi, Anigu ninkan eed kuma aan helin.

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “ I find no guilt in this man.”

5 L aakiin way ku sii adkeeyeen iyagoo leh, Dadkuu kiciyaa, oo dalka Yahuudiya oo dhan ayuu wax baraa; dalka Galili ayuu ka soo bilaabay ilaa halkan. Ciise Oo Herodos Hor Taagan

But they kept on insisting, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching all over Judea, starting from Galilee even as far as this place.”

6 B ilaatos goortuu maqlay, wuxuu weyddiiyey inuu ninku reer Galili yahay.

When Pilate heard it, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.

7 G oortuu ogaaday inuu ka mid ahaa kuwii Herodos xukumo, wuxuu u diray Herodos, kan qudhiisu Yeruusaalem joogay wakhtigaas.

And when he learned that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who himself also was in Jerusalem at that time. Jesus before Herod

8 H erodos goortuu Ciise arkay, aad buu u farxay, maxaa yeelay, ilaa wakhti dheer ayuu doonayay inuu arko, waayo, wax buu ka maqlay, oo wuxuu rajaynayay inuu calaamo ka arko.

Now Herod was very glad when he saw Jesus; for he had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had been hearing about Him and was hoping to see some sign performed by Him.

9 M arkaasuu su'aalo badan weyddiiyey, laakiin waxba uma uu jawaabin.

And he questioned Him at some length; but He answered him nothing.

10 W adaaddadii sare iyo culimmadii ayaa istaagay, oo aad iyo aad bay u ashtakeeyeen.

And the chief priests and the scribes were standing there, accusing Him vehemently.

11 H erodos ayaa fududaystay oo ku majaajilooday, isaga iyo askartiisiiba, oo intuu dhar dhalaalaya u geliyey ayuu Bilaatos u celiyey.

And Herod with his soldiers, after treating Him with contempt and mocking Him, dressed Him in a gorgeous robe and sent Him back to Pilate.

12 M aalintaas qudheeda Herodos iyo Bilaatos saaxiibbo bay noqdeen, intii ka horraysayse cadaawe bay isu ahaayeen. Bilaatos, Iyo Baraabbas, Iyo Ciise

Now Herod and Pilate became friends with one another that very day; for before they had been enemies with each other. Pilate Seeks Jesus’ Release

13 B ilaatos ayaa isugu yeedhay wadaaddadii sare iyo taliyayaashii iyo dadkii.

Pilate summoned the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

14 M arkaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Ninkan waxaad iigu keenteen sidii mid dadka rogaya. Bal ogaada, hortiinna ayaan wax ku weyddiiyey, oo ninkan kuma aan helin eed ku saabsan waxaad ku ashtakaynaysaan.

and said to them, “You brought this man to me as one who incites the people to rebellion, and behold, having examined Him before you, I have found no guilt in this man regarding the charges which you make against Him.

15 H erodosna kuma uu helin, wuuna noo soo celiyey, oo ma jiro wax dhimasho istaahila oo uu sameeyey.

No, nor has Herod, for he sent Him back to us; and behold, nothing deserving death has been done by Him.

16 T aas aawadeed waan edbinayaa oo sii daynayaa.

Therefore I will punish Him and release Him.”

17 W aayo, waajib bay ahayd inuu iidda mid u sii daayo iyaga.

'> Now he was obliged to release to them at the feast one prisoner.]

18 M arkaasay wada qayliyeen, iyagoo leh, Wad kan, Baraabbas noo sii daa,

But they cried out all together, saying, “ Away with this man, and release for us Barabbas!”

19 k an xabsiga loogu riday fallaagaduu magaalada ka riday iyo dilid aawadeed.

(He was one who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection made in the city, and for murder.)

20 M ar kale Bilaatos ayaa iyaga la hadlay isagoo doonaya inuu Ciise sii daayo.

Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again,

21 L aakiin way qayliyeen, iyagoo leh, Iskutallaabta ku qodob, iskutallaabta ku qodob.

but they kept on calling out, saying, “Crucify, crucify Him!”

22 M arkaasuu wuxuu kolkii saddexaad ku yidhi, Waayo? Waa maxay sharka kanu sameeyey? Kuma aan helin sabab lagu dilo, taas aawadeed waan edbinayaa oo sii daynayaa.

And he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt demanding death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.”

23 L aakiin cod weyn ayay ku adkaysteen iyagoo weyddiisanaya in iskutallaabta lagu qodbo, oo waxaa xoog batay codadkoodii iyo codadkii wadaaddada sare.

But they were insistent, with loud voices asking that He be crucified. And their voices began to prevail.

24 M arkaasaa Bilaatos wuxuu xukumay in loo yeelo waxay weyddiisteen.

And Pilate pronounced sentence that their demand be granted.

25 W uuna sii daayay kii fallaagada iyo dilidda xabsiga loogu riday oo ay weyddiisteen, laakiin Ciise buu u dhiibay iyaga siday doonayeen. Ciise Waa Lagu Qodbay Iskutallaabta

And he released the man they were asking for who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, but he delivered Jesus to their will. Simon Bears the Cross

26 K olkay wadeen, waxay qabteen Simoon reer Kuranaya ah isagoo beeraha ka soo socda, waxayna saareen iskutallaabtii inuu Ciise ka daba qaado.

When they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus.

27 W axaana la socday dad badan iyo dumar laabta garaacaya oo barooranaya.

And following Him was a large crowd of the people, and of women who were mourning and lamenting Him.

28 L aakiin Ciise intuu u soo jeestay, wuxuu ku yidhi, Gabdhaha Yeruusaalemow, ha ii ooyina, laakiin u ooya qudhiinna iyo carruurtiinna,

But Jesus turning to them said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

29 w aayo, bal eega, wakhtigu waa imanayaa goortay odhan doonaan, Waxaa barakaysan madhashada iyo uurarka aan weligood dhalin iyo naasaha aan weligood la nuugin.

For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘ Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.’

30 M arkaasay bilaabi doonaan inay buuraha ku yidhaahdaan, Nagu soo dhaca, oo ay gumburahana ku yidhaahdaan, Na qariya.

Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’

31 W aayo, hadday geedka qoyan waxaas ku sameeyaan, maxaa ku dhici doona kan engegan?

For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

32 W axaana lala waday laba kale oo xumaanfalayaal ah in lala dilo.

Two others also, who were criminals, were being led away to be put to death with Him. The Crucifixion

33 M arkay yimaadeen meeshii la yidhaahda dhakada, halkaasay iskutallaabo ku qodbeen isaga iyo xumaanfalayaashii, mid midigta, kan kalena bidixda.

When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.

34 M arkaasaa Ciise wuxuu yidhi, Aabbow, iyaga cafi, waayo, garan maayaan waxay samaynayaan. Markaasay dharkiisii qaybsadeen, wayna saami riteen.

But Jesus was saying, “ Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.

35 D adkuna way taagnaayeen iyagoo daawanaya. Taliyayaashuna way ku qosleen iyagoo leh, Kuwa kale ayuu badbaadiyey, kanu ha isbadbaadiyo, hadduu yahay Masiixa Ilaah, kan uu doortay.

And the people stood by, looking on. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One.”

36 A skartiina waa ku majaajiloodeen, oo intay u yimaadeen, ayay khal siiyeen,

The soldiers also mocked Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine,

37 o o waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Haddii aad tahay boqorka Yuhuudda, isbadbaadi.

and saying, “ If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!”

38 M eel ka korraysay isagana waxaa ku qorraa qorniin leh, KANU WAA BOQORKA YUHUUDDA.

Now there was also an inscription above Him, “ THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

39 X umaanfalayaashii deldelnaa midkood ayaa caayay isagoo leh, Miyaanad ahayn Masiixa? Annaga iyo qudhaadaba badbaadi.

One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!”

40 L aakiin kii kale ayaa jawaabay oo canaantay isagoo leh, Miyaanad xataa Ilaah ka baqin, waayo, isku xukun baad tihiin?

But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?

41 W aayo, innaga waa inoo xaq, maxaa yeelay, waxaynu helnay abaalkii wixii aynu falnay, ninkanuse wax aan jid ahayn ma uu falin.

And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 M arkaasuu ku yidhi, Ciisow, i xusuuso goortaad boqortooyadaada ku timaado.

And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!”

43 W uxuu ku yidhi, Runtii waxaan kugu leeyahay, Maanta Firdooska ayaad igula jiri doontaa. Ciise Waa Dhintay

And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

44 H addaba waxay ahayd abbaaraha saacaddii lixaad, dhulka oo dhammuna gudcur buu noqday ilaa saacaddii sagaalaad.

It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour,

45 Q orraxdu way madoobaatay, daahii macbudkuna dhexda ayuu ka kala dillaacay.

because the sun was obscured; and the veil of the temple was torn in two.

46 M arkaasaa Ciise cod weyn ku dhawaaqay oo yidhi, Aabbow, gacmahaaga ayaan ruuxayga u dhiibayaa. Goortuu waxaas yidhi, ayuu ruuxii bixiyey.

And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He breathed His last.

47 B oqol-u-taliyihii goortuu arkay wixii dhacay, ayuu Ilaah ammaanay oo yidhi, Hubaal ninkanu xaq buu ahaa.

Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he began praising God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent.”

48 D adkii oo dhan oo daawasho isugu yimid, goortay arkeen wixii dhacay, ayay noqdeen iyagoo laabta garaacaya.

And all the crowds who came together for this spectacle, when they observed what had happened, began to return, beating their breasts.

49 W axaa meel fogna ka taagnaayeen kuwii Ciise yiqiin oo dhan iyo dumarkii Galili ka soo raacay, iyagoo waxaas dayaya. Ciise Waa La Aasay

And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things. Jesus Is Buried

50 O o bal eeg, waxaa jiray nin Yuusuf la odhan jiray oo taliye ahaa, wuxuuna ahaa nin wanaagsan oo xaq ah,

And a man named Joseph, who was a member of the Council, a good and righteous man

51 ( isaguna raalli kama ahayn waanidoodii iyo falniinkoodii), wuxuuna ahaa reer Arimataya oo ahayd magaalo Yuhuudda, kan boqortooyada Ilaah sugayay.

(he had not consented to their plan and action), a man from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who was waiting for the kingdom of God;

52 K anu wuxuu u tegey Bilaatos oo ka baryay Ciise meydkiisii.

this man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

53 M arkaasuu soo dejiyey oo kafan ku duudduubay, oo wuxuu geliyey xabaal dhagax ka qodnayd, meel aan weligeed ninna la dhigin.

And he took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid Him in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had ever lain.

54 W axay ahayd Maalintii Diyaargarayska, sabtidiina waa soo dhowaanaysay.

It was the preparation day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.

55 D umarkii kala yimid Galili ayaa daba socday oo arkay xabaashii iyo sida meydkiisii loo dhigay.

Now the women who had come with Him out of Galilee followed, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid.

56 M arkaasay noqdeen, oo dhir udgoon iyo cadar soo diyargareeyeen. Sabtidiina way nasteen sida qaynuunka u ahaa.

Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
