1 В от родословие сынов Ноевых: Сима, Хама и Иафета. После потопа родились у них дети.

Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.

2 С ыны Иафета: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Иаван, Фувал, Мешех и Фирас.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

3 С ыны Гомера: Аскеназ, Рифат и Фогарма.

The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 С ыны Иавана: Елиса, Фарсис, Киттим и Доданим.

The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 О т сих населились острова народов в землях их, каждый по языку своему, по племенам своим, в народах своих.

From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.

6 С ыны Хама: Хуш, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

7 С ыны Хуша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыны Раамы: Шева и дедан.

The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

8 Х уш родил также Нимрода: сей начал быть силен на земле.

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

9 О н был сильный зверолов пред Господом; потому и говориться: сильный зверолов, как Нимрод, пред Господом.

He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.”

10 Ц арство его вначале сщставляли: Вавилон, Эрех, аккад и Халне, в земле Сеннаар.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11 И з сей земли вышел Ассур, и построил Ниневию, Реховофир, Калах.

From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah,

12 И ресен между Ниневию и между Калахом; это город великий.

and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city).

13 О т Мицраима произщшли Лудим, Анамим, Легавим, Нафтухим,

Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,

14 П атрусим, Каслухим, откуда вышли Филистимляне, и Кафторим.

Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and Caphtorim).

15 О т Ханаана родились: Сидон, первенец его, Хет,

Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth;

16 И евусей, Аморей, Гергесей,

the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

17 Е вей, Аркей, Синей,

the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite;

18 А рвадей, Цемарей и Химарей. В последствии племена Ханаанские рассеялись.

the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were dispersed.

19 И были пределы Хананеев от Сидона к Герару до Газы, Отсюда к Садому, Гаморре, Адме и Цевоиму до Лаши.

And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

20 Э то сыны Хамовы, по племенам их, по языкам их, в землях их, в народах их.

These were the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

21 Б ыли дети и у Сима, отца всех сынов Еверовых, старшего брата Иафетова.

And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.

22 С ыны Сима: Елам, Асур, Арфаксад, Луд, Арам.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

23 С ыны Арама: Уц, Хул, Гефер и Маш.

The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

24 А рфаксад родил Салу, Сала родил Евера.

Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber.

25 У Евера родились два сына; имя одному: Фалек, потому что во дни его земля разделена; имя брата его: Иоктан.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

26 И октан родил Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавефа, Иераха,

Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

27 Г адорама, Узала, Диклу,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

28 О вала, Авимаила, Шеву,

Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

29 О фира, Хавилу и Иовава. Все эти сыновья Иоктана.

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

30 П оселения их были от Меши до Сефара, горы восточной.

And their dwelling place was from Mesha as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

31 Э то сыновья Симовы по племенам их, по языкам их, в землях их, по народам их.

These were the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands, according to their nations.

32 В от племена сынов Ноевых, по Родословию их, в народах их. От них распространились народы по земле после потопа.

These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood.
