1 В начале было Слово, и Слово было у Бога, и Слово было Бог.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 О но было в начале у Бога.

He was in the beginning with God.

3 В се чрез Него начало быть, и без Него ничто не начало быть, что начало быть.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

4 В Нем была жизнь, и жизнь была свет человеков.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

5 И свет во тьме светит, и тьма не объяла его.

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John’s Witness: The True Light

6 Б ыл человек, посланный от Бога; имя ему Иоанн.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 О н пришел для свидетельства, чтобы свидетельствовать о Свете, дабы все уверовали чрез него.

This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.

8 О н не был свет, но, чтобы свидетельствовать о Свете.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9 Б ыл Свет истинный, Который просвещает всякого человека, приходящего в мир.

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

10 В мире был, и мир чрез Него начал быть, и мир Его не познал.

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

11 П ришел к своим, и свои Его не приняли.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

12 А тем, которые приняли Его, верующим во имя Его, дал власть быть чадами Божиими,

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

13 к оторые ни от крови, ни от хотения плоти, ни от хотения мужа, но от Бога родились.

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. The Word Becomes Flesh

14 И Слово стало плотию, и обитало с нами, полное благодати и истины; и мы видели славу Его, славу, как Единородного от Отца.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 И оанн свидетельствует о Нем и, восклицая, говорит: Сей был Тот, о Котором я сказал, что Идущий за мною стал впереди меня, потому что был прежде меня.

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

16 И от полноты Его все мы приняли и благодать на благодать,

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

17 и бо закон дан чрез Моисея; благодать же и истина произошли чрез Иисуса Христа.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 Б ога не видел никто никогда; Единородный Сын, сущий в недре Отчем, Он явил.

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. A Voice in the Wilderness

19 И вот свидетельство Иоанна, когда Иудеи прислали из Иерусалима священников и левитов спросить его: кто ты?

Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

20 О н объявил, и не отрекся, и объявил, что я не Христос.

He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.”

21 И спросили его: что же? ты Илия? Он сказал: нет. Пророк? Он отвечал: нет.

And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

22 С казали ему: кто же ты? чтобы нам дать ответ пославшим нас: что ты скажешь о себе самом?

Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”

23 О н сказал: я глас вопиющего в пустыне: исправьте путь Господу, как сказал пророк Исаия.

He said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the L ord,”’ as the prophet Isaiah said.”

24 А посланные были из фарисеев;

Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees.

25 И они спросили его: что же ты крестишь, если ты ни Христос, ни Илия, ни пророк?

And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

26 И оанн сказал им в ответ: я крещу в воде; но стоит среди вас, Которого вы не знаете.

John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know.

27 О н-то Идущий за мною, но Который стал впереди меня. Я недостоин развязать ремень у обуви Его.

It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.”

28 Э то происходило в Вифаваре при Иордане, где крестил Иоанн.

These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The Lamb of God

29 Н а другой день видит Иоанн идущего к нему Иисуса и говорит: вот Агнец Божий, Который берет грех мира.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

30 С ей есть, о Котором я сказал: за мною идет Муж, Который стал впереди меня, потому что Он был прежде меня.

This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’

31 Я не знал Его; но для того пришел крестить в воде, чтобы Он явлен был Израилю.

I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.”

32 И свидетельствовал Иоанн, говоря: я видел Духа, сходящего с неба, как голубя, и пребывающего на Нем.

And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.

33 Я не знал Его; но Пославший меня крестить в воде сказал мне: на Кого увидишь Духа сходящего и пребывающего на Нем, Тот есть крестящий Духом Святым.

I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’

34 И я видел и засвидетельствовал, что Сей есть Сын Божий.

And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” The First Disciples

35 Н а другой день опять стоял Иоанн и двое из учеников его.

Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples.

36 И , увидев идущего Иисуса, сказал: вот Агнец Божий.

And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”

37 У слышав от него сии слова, оба ученика пошли за Иисусом.

The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

38 И исус же, обратившись и увидев их идущих, говорит им: что вам надобно? Они сказали Ему: Равви, --что значит: учитель, --где живешь?

Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?”

39 Г оворит им: пойдите и увидите. Они пошли и увидели, где Он живет; и пробыли у Него день тот. Было около десятого часа.

He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).

40 О дин из двух, слышавших от Иоанна и последовавших за Ним, был Андрей, брат Симона Петра.

One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

41 О н первый находит брата своего Симона и говорит ему: мы нашли Мессию, что значит: Христос;

He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ).

42 и привел его к Иисусу. Иисус же, взглянув на него, сказал: ты--Симон, сын Ионин; ты наречешься Кифа, что значит: камень (Петр).

And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone). Philip and Nathanael

43 Н а другой день восхотел идти в Галилею, и находит Филиппа и говорит ему: иди за Мною.

The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.”

44 Ф илипп же был из Вифсаиды, из города с Андреем и Петром.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

45 Ф илипп находит Нафанаила и говорит ему: мы нашли Того, о Котором писали Моисей в законе и пророки, Иисуса, сына Иосифова, из Назарета.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 Н о Нафанаил сказал ему: из Назарета может ли быть что доброе? Филипп говорит ему: пойди и посмотри.

And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47 И исус, увидев идущего к Нему Нафанаила, говорит о нем: вот подлинно Израильтянин, в котором нет лукавства.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

48 Н афанаил говорит Ему: почему Ты знаешь меня? Иисус сказал ему в ответ: прежде нежели позвал тебя Филипп, когда ты был под смоковницею, Я видел тебя.

Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Н афанаил отвечал Ему: Равви! Ты Сын Божий, Ты Царь Израилев.

Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 И исус сказал ему в ответ: ты веришь, потому что Я тебе сказал: Я видел тебя под смоковницею; увидишь больше сего.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”

51 И говорит ему: истинно, истинно говорю вам: отныне будете видеть небо отверстым и Ангелов Божиих восходящих и нисходящих к Сыну Человеческому.

And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
