1 Б оже, услышь мой голос, когда я возношу жалобы мои; сохрани мою жизнь от угроз врага.

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 С окрой меня от замыслов нечестивых, от шумной толпы злодеев.

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

3 О ни заострили свои языки как мечи, и нацелили свои слова как смертоносные стрелы.

who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4 О ни стреляют из засады в невинного, стреляют в него неожиданно и без страха.

that they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 О ни воодушевляют друг друга на злые замыслы и совещаются, чтобы спрятать свои сети, говоря: «Кто увидит их? »

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

6 О ни замышляют несправедливость и говорят: «Мы разработали идеальный план!» Истинно, коварны разум и сердце человека.

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

7 Н о Бог пустит в них стрелы; внезапно они будут поражены.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

8 О н обратит их языки против них самих и приведет их к гибели; все, кто увидит их, будут с презрением качать своими головами.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9 В се люди устрашатся; они будут возвещать дело Божье и размышлять о том, что Он сделал.

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

10 П усть праведные возрадуются о Господе и найдут в Нем убежище; пусть все правые сердцем восславят Его.

The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
