1 Х валите Имя Господа! Хвалите, слуги Господа,

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.

2 с тоящие в доме Господнем, во дворах дома нашего Бога!

Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God,

3 Х валите Господа, потому что Он благ; пойте хвалу Его Имени, потому что это приятно,

praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4 в едь Господь избрал Себе Иакова, Израиль – в Свою собственность.

For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5 Я знаю, что велик Господь, и наш Владыка выше всех богов.

For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

6 Н аш Бог делает все, что угодно Ему на небесах и на земле, в морях и во всех безднах.

Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7 П однимает облака с концов земли, создает молнии при дожде, выпускает ветер из Своих хранилищ.

He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

8 О н поразил первенцев в Египте, от человека до скота.

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9 О н послал знамения и чудеса среди тебя, Египет, на фараона и на всех его слуг.

Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10 О н поразил многие народы и истребил могучих царей:

Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11 С игона, аморрейского царя, Ога, башанского царя и все ханаанские царства,

Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12 и отдал их земли в наследие, в наследие Израилю, Своему народу.

and gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

13 Г осподи, Имя Твое – из века в век; Господи, память Твоя – из поколения в поколение.

Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.

14 Г осподь будет вершить правосудие Своему народу и смилуется над Своими слугами.

For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15 И долы чужеземцев – серебро и золото; они – творение человеческих рук.

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

16 У них есть уста, но они не говорят, у них есть глаза, но они не видят;

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17 у них есть уши, но они не слышат, и нет дыхания в их устах.

they have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18 Д елающие их и надеющиеся на них да будут подобны им.

They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

19 Б лагослови Господа, дом Израиля! Благослови Господа, дом Аарона!

Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron:

20 Б лагослови Господа, дом Левин! Боящиеся Господа, благословите Его!

bless the Lord, O house of Levi: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

21 Б лагословен будь с Сиона, Господь, живущий в Иерусалиме. Аллилуйя!

Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
