1 O Senhor reina! Vestiu-se de majestade; de majestade vestiu-se o Senhor e armou-se de poder! O mundo está firme e não se abalará.

Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith: The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 O teu trono está firme desde a antigüidade; tu existes desde a eternidade.

Thy throne is established of old: Thou art from everlasting.

3 A s águas se levantaram, Senhor, as águas levantaram a voz; as águas levantaram seu bramido.

The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.

4 M ais poderoso do que o estrondo das águas impetuosas, mais poderoso do que as ondas do mar é o Senhor nas alturas.

Above the voices of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.

5 O s teus mandamentos permanecem firmes e fiéis; a santidade, Senhor, é o ornamento perpétuo da tua casa.

Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thy house, O Jehovah, for evermore.
