1 S enhor, quem habitará no teu santuário? Quem poderá morar no teu santo monte?

Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 A quele que é íntegro em sua conduta e pratica o que é justo, que de coração fala a verdade

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart;

3 e não usa a língua para difamar, que nenhum mal faz ao seu semelhante e não lança calúnia contra o seu próximo,

He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor;

4 q ue rejeita quem merece desprezo, mas honra os que temem o Senhor, que mantém a sua palavra, mesmo quando sai prejudicado,

In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;

5 q ue não empresta o seu dinheiro visando lucro nem aceita suborno contra o inocente. Quem assim procede nunca será abalado!

He that putteth not out his money to interest, Nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
