1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

3 S ix days shall work be done, but the seventh day shall be a sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein; it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Si lavorerà sei giorni; ma il settimo giorno è sabato, giorno di completo riposo e di santa convocazione. Non farete in esso nessun lavoro; è un riposo consacrato al Signore in tutti i luoghi dove abiterete. La Pasqua; la festa dei pani senza lievito

4 ¶ These are the feasts of the LORD, the holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their appointed times.

«“Queste sono le solennità del Signore, le sante convocazioni che proclamerete ai tempi stabiliti.

5 O n the fourteenth of the first month between the two evenings is the LORD’s passover.

Il primo mese, il quattordicesimo giorno del mese, sull’imbrunire, sarà la Pasqua del Signore;

6 A nd on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD; seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

il quindicesimo giorno dello stesso mese sarà la festa dei Pani azzimi in onore del Signore; per sette giorni mangerete pane senza lievito.

7 T he first day ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work therein.

Il primo giorno avrete una santa convocazione; non farete in esso nessun lavoro ordinario;

8 A nd ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD seven days; the seventh day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work therein.

per sette giorni offrirete al Signore dei sacrifici consumati dal fuoco. Il settimo giorno si avrà una santa convocazione, non farete nessun lavoro ordinario”». La festa delle Primizie

9 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:

10 S peak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have entered into the land which I give unto you and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest;

«Parla ai figli d’Israele e di’ loro: “Quando sarete entrati nel paese che io vi do e ne mieterete la raccolta, porterete al sacerdote un fascio di spighe, come primizia della vostra raccolta;

11 a nd he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD that ye shall be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

il sacerdote agiterà il fascio di spighe davanti al Signore, perché sia gradito per il vostro bene; l’agiterà il giorno dopo il sabato.

12 A nd ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf a he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

Il giorno che agiterete il fascio di spighe, offrirete un agnello di un anno, che sia senza difetto, come olocausto al Signore.

13 A nd the present thereof shall be two-tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil in an offering on fire unto the LORD for an acceptable aroma; and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

L’oblazione che l’accompagna sarà di due decimi di efa di fior di farina intrisa d’olio, come sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, di profumo soave per il Signore; la libazione sarà di un quarto di hin di vino.

14 A nd ye shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor green ears until this same day until ye have offered the offering of your God; it shall be a statute for ever throughout your ages in all your dwellings.

Non mangerete pane, né grano arrostito, né spighe fresche, fino a quel giorno, fino a che abbiate portato l’offerta al vostro Dio. È una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione, in tutti i luoghi dove abiterete. La Pentecoste

15 ¶ And ye shall count unto you from the day after the sabbath, from the day that ye offered the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete;

«“Dall’indomani del sabato, dal giorno che avrete portato l’offerta agitata del fascio di spighe, conterete sette settimane intere.

16 u nto the day after the seventh sabbath, ye shall number fifty days; then ye shall offer a new present unto the LORD.

Conterete cinquanta giorni fino all’indomani del settimo sabato e offrirete al Signore una nuova oblazione.

17 Y e shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two-tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven, they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

Porterete dai luoghi dove abiterete due pani per un’offerta agitata, i quali saranno di due decimi di un efa di fior di farina e cotti con lievito; sono le primizie offerte al Signore.

18 A nd ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year and one young bullock and two rams; they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their presents and their drink offerings in an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

Con quei pani offrirete sette agnelli dell’anno, senza difetto, un toro e due montoni, che saranno un olocausto al Signore insieme alla loro oblazione e alle loro libazioni; sarà un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, di profumo soave per il Signore.

19 T hen ye shall also sacrifice one he goat as the sin and two lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of peace.

E offrirete un capro come sacrificio per il peccato e due agnelli dell’anno come sacrificio di riconoscenza.

20 A nd the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs; they shall be holiness of the LORD for the priest.

Il sacerdote offrirà gli agnelli con il pane delle primizie, come offerta agitata davanti al Signore; tanto i pani quanto i due agnelli consacrati al Signore apparterranno al sacerdote.

21 A nd ye shall be summoned on that same day; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; ye shall do no servile work: a perpetual statute in all your dwellings throughout your ages.

In quel medesimo giorno proclamerete la festa e avrete una santa convocazione. Non farete nessun lavoro ordinario. È una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione, in tutti i luoghi dove abiterete.

22 A nd when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I AM your God.

Quando mieterete la raccolta della vostra terra, non mieterai fino ai margini il tuo campo e non raccoglierai ciò che resta da spigolare della tua raccolta; lo lascerai per il povero e per lo straniero. Io sono il Signore vostro Dio”». La festa delle Trombe

23 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

24 S peak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month in the first day of the month, ye shall have a rest, an alarm for a reminder, and a holy convocation.

«Parla ai figli d’Israele e di’ loro: “Il settimo mese, il primo giorno del mese, avrete un riposo solenne che sarà ricordato con il suono della tromba, una santa convocazione.

25 Y e shall do no servile work therein; but ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD.

Non farete nessun lavoro ordinario e offrirete al Signore dei sacrifici consumati dal fuoco”». Il giorno delle espiazioni

26 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:

27 B ut the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the day of reconciliations; it shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls and offer an offering made on fire unto the LORD.

«Il decimo giorno di questo settimo mese sarà il giorno delle espiazioni; avrete una santa convocazione, vi umilierete e offrirete al Signore dei sacrifici consumati dal fuoco.

28 A nd ye shall do no work in this same day; for it is a day of reconciliations, to reconcile you before the LORD your God.

In quel giorno non farete nessun lavoro; poiché è un giorno di espiazione, destinato a fare espiazione per voi davanti al Signore, che è il vostro Dio.

29 F or every person that shall not afflict themselves in that same day, shall be cut off from among his people.

Poiché ogni persona che non si umilierà in quel giorno sarà tolta via dalla sua gente.

30 A nd any person that does any work in that same day, the same person will I destroy from among his people.

Ogni persona che farà in quel giorno un lavoro qualsiasi, io la distruggerò dal mezzo del suo popolo.

31 Y e shall do no manner of work; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your ages in all your dwellings.

Non farete nessun lavoro. È una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione, in tutti i luoghi dove abiterete.

32 I t shall be unto you a sabbath of sabbaths, and ye shall afflict your souls, beginning in the ninth day of the month in the evening, from evening unto evening, shall ye rest on your sabbath.

Sarà per voi un sabato, giorno di completo riposo, e vi umilierete; il nono giorno del mese, dalla sera alla sera seguente, celebrerete il vostro sabato». La festa delle Capanne

33 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:

34 S peak unto the sons of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles unto the LORD for seven days.

«Parla ai figli d’Israele e di’ loro: “Il quindicesimo giorno di questo settimo mese sarà la festa delle Capanne; durerà sette giorni, in onore del Signore.

35 T he first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

Il primo giorno vi sarà una santa convocazione; non farete nessun lavoro ordinario.

36 S even days ye shall offer an offering on fire unto the LORD; the eighth day ye shall have a holy convocation and offer an offering on fire unto the LORD; it is a feast; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

Per sette giorni offrirete al Signore dei sacrifici consumati dal fuoco. L’ottavo giorno avrete una santa convocazione e offrirete al Signore dei sacrifici consumati dal fuoco. È giorno di solenne assemblea; non farete nessun lavoro ordinario.

37 T hese are the feasts of the LORD, unto which ye shall be summoned: holy convocations to offer an offering on fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering and a present, a sacrifice and drink offerings, every thing in its proper time;

Queste sono le solennità del Signore che voi proclamerete come sante convocazioni, perché si offrano al Signore sacrifici consumati dal fuoco, olocausti e oblazioni, vittime e libazioni, ogni cosa al giorno stabilito, oltre ai sabati del Signore, oltre ai vostri doni,

38 i n addition the sabbaths of the LORD and in addition to your gifts and in addition to all your vows, and in addition to all your freewill offerings, which ye shall give unto the LORD.

oltre a tutti i vostri voti e a tutte le offerte volontarie che presenterete al Signore.

39 B ut in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days; the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall also be a sabbath.

Il quindicesimo giorno del settimo mese, quando avrete raccolto i frutti della terra, celebrerete una festa al Signore per sette giorni; il primo giorno sarà di completo riposo e l’ottavo di completo riposo.

40 A nd on the first day ye shall take branches with fruit of a beautiful tree, palm branches and the boughs of thick trees and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

Il primo giorno coglierete dagli alberi dei frutti di bell’aspetto, dei rami di palma, rami di mortella e rami di salici di torrente, e vi rallegrerete davanti al Signore Dio vostro per sette giorni.

41 A nd ye shall keep this feast unto the LORD for seven days each year. It shall be a perpetual statute for your ages; ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Celebrerete questa festa in onore del Signore per sette giorni, ogni anno. È una legge perenne, di generazione in generazione. La celebrerete il settimo mese.

42 Y e shall dwell in tabernacles seven days; all that are natural of Israel shall dwell in booths,

Abiterete in capanne per sette giorni; tutti quelli che saranno nativi d’Israele abiteranno in capanne,

43 t hat your descendants may know that I made the sons of Israel to dwell in tabernacles when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I AM your God.

affinché i vostri discendenti sappiano che io feci abitare in capanne i figli d’Israele, quando li feci uscire dal paese d’Egitto. Io sono il Signore, il vostro Dio”».

44 T hus Moses declared unto the sons of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

Così Mosè diede ai figli d’Israele le istruzioni relative alle solennità del Signore.
