3 W axaa nagu waajib ah, walaalayaalow, inaannu mar walba aawadiin Ilaah ugu mahadnaqno, sida noo eg, maxaa yeelay, rumaysadkiinnu aad buu u kordhayaa, jacaylka aad kulligiin isu qabtaanna waa badnaanayaa.

We ought and indeed are obligated to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing exceedingly and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds.

4 S idaas daraaddeed waxaannu idinku faannaa kiniisadaha Ilaah dhexdooda, waana dulqaadashadiinna iyo rumaysadkiinna aad ku dhex leedihiin silecyada iyo dhibaatooyinka aad u adkaysataan oo dhan.

And this is a cause of our mentioning you with pride among the churches (assemblies) of God for your steadfastness (your unflinching endurance and patience) and your firm faith in the midst of all the persecutions and crushing distresses and afflictions under which you are holding up.

5 T aasu waxay muujisaa xukunka xaqa ah ee Ilaah, in laydinku tiriyo kuwo istaahila boqortooyada Ilaah, tan aad daraaddeed u xanuunsataan.

This is positive proof of the just and right judgment of God to the end that you may be deemed deserving of His kingdom, for the sake of which you are also suffering.

6 W aayo, xagga Ilaah waa xaq inuu dhib ugu abaalgudo kuwa idin dhiba,

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with distress and affliction those who distress and afflict you,

7 i yo inuu kuwiinna la dhibay nala kiin nasiyo markii Rabbi Ciise samada ka muuqdo, isagoo wata malaa'igaha xooggiisa

And to '> recompense] you who are so distressed and afflicted relief and rest along with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in a flame of fire,

8 o o dab ololaya ku jira, oo ka aargudanaya kuwa aan Ilaah aqoon iyo kuwa aan addeecin injiilka Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix.

To deal out retribution (chastisement and vengeance) upon those who do not know or perceive or become acquainted with God, and who ignore and refuse to obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 W axaa lagu ciqaabi doonaa halaag weligiis ah, oo waxaa laga gooyn doonaa Rabbiga hortiisa iyo ammaanta xooggiisa,

Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

10 m arkuu yimaado maalintaas in isaga lagu ammaano quduusiintiisa oo lagula yaabo kuwii rumaystay oo dhan, maxaa yeelay, markhaatifurkayagii aan idiin sheegnay waa la rumaystay.

When He comes to be glorified in His saints, and be marveled at and admired in all who have believed, because our witnessing among you was confidently accepted and believed.

11 S ababtaas daraaddeed mar walba waannu idiin ducaynaa in Ilaaheen idinka dhigo kuwa istaahila yeedhistiisa oo uu xoog ku dhammeeyo doonis kasta oo wanaag ah iyo shuqulka rumaysadka,

With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of calling and every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).

12 i n magaca Rabbi Ciise dhexdiinna lagu ammaano, idinkana in laydinku dhex ammaano isaga, sida nimcada Ilaaheenna iyo Rabbi Ciise Masiix ay tahay.

Thus may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you, and may you in Him according to the grace (favor and blessing) of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
