1 R eer binu Israa'iilow, bal maqla eraygan Rabbigu idinkaga hadlay. Waxaan kaga hadlay dadkii aan dalka Masar ka soo bixiyey oo dhan, anigoo leh,

Hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt:

2 I dinka oo keliya ayaan idinka iqiin qolooyinka dhulka deggan oo dhan, haddaba xumaatooyinkiinnii oo dhan ayaan idiin ciqaabi doonaa.

You only have I known (chosen, sympathized with, and loved) of all the families of the earth; therefore I will visit upon you all your wickedness and punish you for all your iniquities.

3 L aba qof miyey wada socdaan haddaanay heshiis ahayn?

Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?

4 A ar miyuu duudda ka ciyaa, hadduusan raq haysan? Aaran libaax miyuu bohoshiisa ka qayliyaa, hadduusan waxba soo qaadan?

Will a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den if he has taken nothing?

5 S himbiru miyey dabin dhulka ku kor yaal ku dhici kartaa, haddaan siriq loo dhigin? Dabin miyuu dhulka ka boodda isagoo aan innaba wax qabsan?

Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth where there is no trap for him? Does a trap spring up from the ground when nothing at all has sprung it?

6 H addiise magaalo buun laga dhex afuufo, miyaan dadku cabsan? Miyaa belaayo magaalo ku dhacdaa, haddaan Rabbigu saas ku samayn?

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city and the people not be alarmed and afraid? Shall misfortune or evil occur and the Lord has not caused it?

7 S ida xaqiiqada ah Sayidka Rabbiga ahu waxba ma samayn doono, inuu qarsoodiga u muujiyo addoommadiisa nebiyada ah mooyaane.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.

8 A arkii waa ciyey, haddaba bal yaan cabsanayn? Sayidka Rabbiga ahu waa hadlay, haddaba bal yaa wax sii sheegi waayaya?

The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy?

9 W arkan ka dhex naadiya daaraha waaweyn ee Ashdood ku yaal iyo daaraha waaweyn ee dalka Masar ku dhex yaalba, oo waxaad tidhaahdaan, War waxaad ku soo shirtaan buuraha Samaariya korkooda, oo bal eega buuqa weyn oo halkaas ku jira, iyo dulmiga ku dhex jira.

Publish to the strongholds in Ashdod and to the strongholds in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold what great tumults (confusion and disorder) are in her and what oppressions are in the midst of her.

10 W aayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Kuwa daarahooda waaweyn ku soo urursadaa wixii xoog iyo tuugnimo lagu soo dhacay ma ay gartaan si ay wax qumman u sameeyaan.

For they know not how to do right, says the Lord, they who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.

11 H addaba Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Cadow baa dalka hareerayn doona, oo isna xooggiinna wuu idinka qaadi doonaa, oo daarihiinna waaweynna waa la wada dhici doonaa.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: An adversary shall surround the land, and he shall bring down your defenses from you and your strongholds shall be plundered.

12 R abbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Sida adhijirku afka libaaxa uga badbaadiyo laba lugood, amase dheg go'eed, saasoo kalaa loo badbaadin doonaa dadka Israa'iil ee Samaariya deggan oo ku fadhiya sariirta rukunkeeda iyo gogosha barkimaheeda xariirta ah.

Thus says the Lord: As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel who dwell in Samaria be rescued with the corner of a couch and the damask covering of a bed.

13 S ayidka Rabbiga ah oo ah Ilaaha ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Maqla oo ku markhaati fura reerka Yacquub.

Hear and bear witness in the house of Jacob, says the Lord God, the God of hosts,

14 M aalinta aan dadka Israa'iil xadgudubyadooda u ciqaabi doono ayaan weliba meelaha allabariga ee Beytel baabbi'in doonaa, oo meelaha allabariga geesahooda ka taagan waa la wada jari doonaa, oo dhulkay ku soo dhici doonaan.

That in the day when I visit Israel’s transgressions upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.

15 O o Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waan dumin doonaa guryaha gabowga iyo guryaha kulaylkaba, oo guryaha foolmaroodiga ahuna way wada baabbi'i doonaan, oo daaraha waaweynuna way wada dhammaan doonaan.

And I will smite the winter house with the summer house, and the houses of ivory shall perish and the many and great houses shall come to an end, says the Lord.
