Because you have plundered many nations, all who are left of the people shall plunder you—because of men’s blood and for the violence done to the earth, to the city and all the people who live in each city.

9 W axaa iska hoogay kii faa'iido shar ah reerkiisa u soo urursada si uu buulkiisa uga dhisto meel sare oo uu gacanta sharka uga samatabbaxo!

Woe to him who obtains wicked gain for his house, to set his nest on high that he may be preserved from calamity and delivered from the power of evil!

10 D adyowga badan oo aad baabbi'isay daraaddood waxaad reerkaagii ugu arrimisay ceeb, oo waxaad ku dembaabtay naftaadii.

You have devised shame to your house by cutting off and putting an end to many peoples, and you have sinned against and forfeited your own life.

11 W aayo, dhagax baa ka qaylin doona derbiga dhexdiisa, oo loox alwaaxda ku dhex jira ayaa u jawaabi doona.

For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it.

12 W axaa iska hoogay kii magaalo dhiig ku dhisa, oo magaalo xumaan ku adkeeya!

Woe to him who builds a town with blood and establishes a city by iniquity!

13 B al eeg in dadku ay dabka aawadiis u hawshoodaan, oo quruumuhuna ay waxtarla'aan isu daaliyaan sow ma aha mid Rabbiga ciidammada xaggiisa ka timid?

Behold, is it not by appointment of the Lord of hosts that the nations toil only to satisfy the fire, and the peoples weary themselves only for emptiness, falsity, and futility?

14 W aayo, sida biyuhu badda u daboolaan oo kale ayaa dhulka waxaa ka buuxsami doona aqoonta sharafta Rabbiga.

But the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

15 W axaa iska hoogay kaaga deriskiisa khamri cabsiiya, oo cadho ugu shuba, oo weliba u sakhraamiya si uu cawradooda u fiirsada aawadeed!

Woe to him who gives his neighbors drink, who pours out your bottle to them and adds to it your poisonous and blighting wrath and also makes them drunk, that you may look on their stripped condition and pour out foul shame!

16 A digu intaad sharaf heli lahayd waxaa ka buuxsantay ceeb, oo weliba adiguna khamri cab, oo waxaad noqotaa sida mid buuryaqab ah. Rabbiga gacantiisa midig koobka ku jira adiguu kugu soo rogman doonaa, oo sharaftaadana waxaa ku dhici doonta ceeb xun.

You will be filled with shame and contempt instead of glory. Drink also and be like an uncircumcised! The cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you, and foul shame shall be upon your own glory!

17 W aayo, waxaa ku dabooli doona dulmigii Lubnaan lagu sameeyey, iyo halligaaddii ku dhacday xayawaankii iyaga ka cabsiiyey, taasuna waa dhiiggii dadka daraaddiis, iyo dulmigii lagu sameeyey dalka iyo magaalada iyo inta dhex deggan oo dhanba.

For the violence done to Lebanon will cover and overwhelm you; the destruction of the animals will terrify you on account of men’s blood and the violence done to the land, to the city and all its inhabitants.

18 B al muxuu taraa sanamka xardhan, oo muxuu kii sameeyey u xardhay? Oo muxuu taraa sanamka la shubay oo ah macallinka beenta bara, oo kii sameeyey muxuu haddana isugu halleeyaa, waayo, waa sanamyo carrab la'.

What profit is the graven image when its maker has formed it? It is only a molten image and a teacher of lies. For the maker trusts in his own creations when he makes dumb idols.

19 W axaa iska hoogay kii qoriga ku yidhaahda, Toos! oo dhagax carrab la' ku yidhaahda, Sara joogso! Kanu miyuu wax bari doonaa? Bal eega, waxaa lagu dahaadhay dahab iyo lacag, laakiinse innaba neefu kuma jirto.

Woe to him who says to the wooden image, Awake! and to the dumb stone, Arise, teach! behold, it is laid over with gold and silver and there is no breath at all inside it!

20 L aakiinse Rabbigu waa ku jiraa macbudkiisa quduuska ah, haddaba inta dhulka joogta oo dhammu ha ku hor aamuseen.

But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth hush and keep silence before Him.
