Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took as wife when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

22 Y Segub engendró a Jair, el cual tuvo veintitrés ciudades en la tierra de Galaad.

Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 P ero Gesur y Aram tomaron de ellos las ciudades de Jair, con Kenat y sus aldeas, sesenta lugares. Todos éstos fueron de los hijos de Maquir padre de Galaad.

Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 M uerto Hezrón en Caleb de Efrata, Abías mujer de Hezrón dio a luz a Asur padre de Tecoa.

32 L os hijos de Jada hermano de Samai: Jeter y Jonatán. Y murió Jeter sin hijos.

and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,

40 E lasa engendró a Sismai, Sismai engendró a Salum;

and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,

41 S alum engendró a Jecamías, y Jecamías engendró a Elisama.

and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.

42 L os hijos de Caleb hermano de Jerameel fueron: Mesa su primogénito, que fue el padre de Zif; y los hijos de Maresa padre de Hebrón.

The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jothan, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 M aaca concubina de Caleb dio a luz a Seber y a Tirhana.

Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

49 T ambién dio a luz a Saaf padre de Madmana, y a Seva padre de Macbena y padre de Gibea. Y Acsa fue hija de Caleb.
