1 E l rey se alegra en tu poder, oh Jehová; Y en tu salvación,!! cómo se goza!

The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!

2 L e has concedido el deseo de su corazón, Y no le negaste la petición de sus labios. Selah

You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

3 P orque le has salido al encuentro con bendiciones de bien; Corona de oro fino has puesto sobre su cabeza.

For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

4 V ida te demandó, y se la diste; Largura de días eternamente y para siempre.

He asked life of you, you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

5 G rande es su gloria en tu salvación; Honra y majestad has puesto sobre él.

His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.

6 P orque lo has bendecido para siempre; Lo llenaste de alegría con tu presencia.

For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.

7 P or cuanto el rey confía en Jehová, Y en la misericordia del Altísimo, no será conmovido.

For the king trusts in Yahweh. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.

8 A lcanzará tu mano a todos tus enemigos; Tu diestra alcanzará a los que te aborrecen.

Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.

9 L os pondrás como horno de fuego en el tiempo de tu ira; Jehová los deshará en su ira, Y fuego los consumirá.

You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.

10 S u fruto destruirás de la tierra, Y su descendencia de entre los hijos de los hombres.

You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.

11 P orque intentaron el mal contra ti; Fraguaron maquinaciones, mas no prevalecerán,

For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.

12 P ues tú los pondrás en fuga; En tus cuerdas dispondrás saetas contra sus rostros.

For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.

13 E ngrandécete, oh Jehová, en tu poder; Cantaremos y alabaremos tu poderío.

Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.
