Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whom Jehovah had put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work of the service of the sanctuary—according to all that Jehovah had commanded.

2 M oisés llamó entonces a Besalel y a Aholiab, lo mismo que a todos aquellos a quienes el Señor había llenado su corazón de sabiduría, y a quienes se sintieron movidos a presentarse para trabajar en la obra.

And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whose heart God had put wisdom, every one whose heart moved him to come to the work to do it.

3 E llos recogieron toda la ofrenda que estaba delante de Moisés, y que los hijos de Israel habían llevado para la obra del servicio del santuario, y se dispusieron a hacerla. Mientras tanto, todos los días el pueblo seguía llevando ofrendas voluntarias.

And they took from Moses every heave-offering that the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it. And they still brought him voluntary offerings morning by morning.

4 E ra tanto lo que llevaban, que todos los maestros de obra del santuario suspendieron sus trabajos

And all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came, every man from his work which they wrought,

5 y fueron a decirle a Moisés: «El pueblo está trayendo mucho más de lo necesario para la obra que el Señor ha ordenado hacer.»

and spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work that Jehovah commanded to be done.

6 E ntonces Moisés mandó pregonar por el campamento: «Que ningún hombre ni mujer traiga ni haga nada más para la ofrenda del santuario.» Y fue así como se le impidió al pueblo ofrecer más,

Then Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed through the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary! So the people were restrained from bringing;

7 p ues tenían material abundante para hacer toda la obra, y aun sobraba. Construcción del tabernáculo

for the work they had was sufficient for all the work to do it, and it was too much.

8 D e entre los que hacían la obra, todos los de corazón sabio hicieron el tabernáculo con diez cortinas de lino torcido, azul, púrpura y carmesí, con querubines bellamente trabajados.

And every wise-hearted man among those that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: cherubim of artistic work did he make them.

9 C ada cortina medía doce y medio metros de largo por dos metros de ancho, y trece y medio metros de largo por un metro y ochenta centímetros de ancho, y las once cortinas eran de la misma medida.

The length of one curtain was twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits—one measure for all the curtains.

10 C inco cortinas las unieron una con la otra, y lo mismo hicieron con las otras cinco cortinas.

And he coupled five of the curtains one to another, and five curtains coupled he one to another.

11 H icieron lazos de azul en la orilla de la cortina que estaba al extremo de la primera serie, y lo mismo hicieron en la orilla de la cortina final de la segunda serie.

And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain at the edge of the coupling; he did likewise in the edge of the outermost curtain in the other coupling.

12 S e hicieron cincuenta lazos en la primera cortina, y otros cincuenta lazos en la orilla de la cortina de la segunda serie. Los lazos de una correspondían con los de la otra.

He made fifty loops in one curtain, and he made fifty loops at the end of the curtain that was in the other coupling: the loops were opposite to one another.

13 T ambién se hicieron cincuenta corchetes de oro, con los cuales se enlazaron las cortinas una con otra, y así se formó un tabernáculo.

And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains together with the clasps, so that the tabernacle became one.

14 S e hicieron también once cortinas de pelo de cabra para una tienda sobre el tabernáculo.

And he made curtains of goats' for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains did he make them.

15 U na de las cortinas medía trece y medio metros de largo por un metro y ochenta centímetros de ancho, y las once cortinas eran de la misma medida.

The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of one curtain—one measure for the eleven curtains.

16 C inco de las cortinas se unieron aparte, y también aparte las otras seis cortinas.

And he coupled five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves.

17 S e hicieron también cincuenta lazos en la orilla de la cortina que estaba al extremo de la primera serie, y otros cincuenta lazos en la orilla de la cortina final de la segunda serie.

And he made fifty loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he on the edge of the curtain in the other coupling.

18 T ambién se hicieron cincuenta corchetes de bronce para enlazar la tienda, de modo que fuese una sola,

And he made fifty clasps of copper to couple the tent, that it might be one.

19 y para la tienda se hizo una cubierta de piel de carnero teñida de rojo, y para la parte superior otra cubierta de piel de delfín.

And he made a covering for the tent rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above.

20 A demás se hicieron para el tabernáculo las tablas derechas de madera de acacia.

And he made the boards for the tabernacle of acacia-wood, standing up;

21 C ada tabla medía cuatro y medio metros de largo por sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho.

ten cubits the length of the boards, and one cubit and a half the breadth of one board;

22 C ada tabla tenía dos espigas para que se unieran la una con la otra. Así se hicieron todas las tablas del tabernáculo.

two tenons in one board, connected one with the other: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 S e hicieron las tablas para el tabernáculo: veinte tablas para el lado sur,

And he made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side southward;

24 y cuarenta bases de plata que iban debajo de las veinte tablas, es decir, dos bases debajo de cada tabla, para sus dos espigas, y dos bases debajo de otra tabla para sus dos espigas.

and he made forty bases of silver under the twenty boards, two bases under one board, for its two tenons, and two bases under another board for its two tenons.

25 P ara el otro lado del tabernáculo, al lado norte, se hicieron otras veinte tablas,

And for the other side of the tabernacle, on the side toward the north, he made twenty boards,

26 c on sus cuarenta bases de plata, es decir, dos bases debajo de una tabla, y dos bases debajo de otra tabla.

and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.

27 P ara el lado occidental del tabernáculo se hicieron seis tablas,

And at the rear of the tabernacle, westward, he made six boards;

28 y dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo, en los dos costados.

and he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear;

29 É stas se unían desde abajo, y por arriba se ajustaban con una bisagra; así hizo con una y con otra en las dos esquinas.

and they were joined beneath, and were coupled together at the top thereof into one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners;

30 A sí que eran ocho tablas y dieciséis bases de plata, dos bases debajo de cada tabla.

and there were eight boards, and their silver bases: sixteen bases, under every board two bases.

31 S e hicieron también los travesaños de madera de acacia; cinco para las tablas de un lado del tabernáculo,

—And he made bars of acacia-wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 c inco travesaños para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco más para las tablas del lado posterior del tabernáculo, es decir, hacia el occidente.

and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle at the rear, westward.

33 E l travesaño de en medio se hizo pasar por en medio de las tablas, de un extremo al otro.

And he made the middle bar in the midst of the boards reach from one end to the other.

34 S e recubrieron de oro las tablas, y se hicieron de oro los anillos por donde pasaban los travesaños, y también los travesaños se recubrieron de oro.

And he overlaid the boards with gold; and made their rings of gold receptacles for the bars; and overlaid the bars with gold.

35 S e hizo también el velo de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido. Se hizo con querubines bellamente trabajados.

And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus: of artistic work he made it cherubim.

36 P ara el velo se hicieron cuatro columnas de madera de acacia, y se recubrieron de oro. Sus capiteles eran de oro, y se fundieron cuatro bases de plata.

And he made four pillars of acacia for it, and overlaid them with gold; their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four bases of silver.

37 E l velo para la puerta del tabernáculo se hizo de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino torcido, recamado artísticamente,

And he made a curtain for the entrance of the tent of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus, of embroidery;

38 c on sus cinco columnas y sus capiteles, y se recubrieron de oro los capiteles y las molduras. Sus cinco bases estaban hechas de bronce.

and its five pillars with their hooks; and he overlaid their capitals and their connecting-rods with gold; and their five bases were of copper.
