1 » Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog y dile que así ha dicho Dios el Señor: “Escucha, Gog, príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal: Yo estoy contra ti.

And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal;

2 V oy a quebrantarte. Voy a hacerte venir del norte para que ataques a los montes de Israel,

and I will turn thee back, and lead thee, and will cause thee to come up from the uttermost north, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel.

3 p ero allí te arrancaré el arco que llevas en la mano izquierda, y te quitaré las flechas que llevas en la mano derecha,

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

4 y tú y todas tus tropas, y los ejércitos que están contigo caerán sobre los montes de Israel. ¡Voy a entregarte a las aves de rapiña de toda especie, y a las fieras salvajes, para que te devoren!

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the peoples that are with thee: I have given thee to be meat for the birds of prey of every wing, and to the beasts of the field.

5 Y quedarás tendido en el campo, porque yo lo he dicho. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

Thou shalt fall on the open field; for I have spoken, saith the Lord Jehovah.

6 ” Yo dejaré caer fuego sobre Magog y sobre los tranquilos habitantes de las costas. Así sabrán que yo soy el Señor.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell at ease in the isles: and they shall know that I Jehovah.

7 ” Yo daré a conocer mi santo nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel, y nunca más permitiré que mi santo nombre sea profanado. Así sabrán las naciones que yo soy el Señor, el Santo de Israel.

And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not suffer my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.

8 Y a viene el día del cual he hablado. Ese día se cumplirá. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

Behold, it cometh, and shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah. This is the day whereof I have spoken.

9 ” Los habitantes de las ciudades de Israel saldrán y les prenderán fuego a las armas: escudos, paveses, arcos y flechas, lanzas y dardos de mano arderán en el fuego durante siete años.

And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall kindle fire, and burn weapons, and shields, and targets, bows, and arrows, and hand-staves, and spears: and they shall make fires with them seven years.

10 N o tendrán que cortar ni acarrear leña del bosque, sino que echarán las armas al fuego, y despojarán y robarán a quienes antes les robaron y despojaron de todo. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

And no wood shall be taken out of the field, neither cut down out of the forests; for they shall make fire with the weapons; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and plunder those that plundered them, saith the Lord Jehovah.

11 ” Cuando llegue el día, abriré en Israel un sepulcro para Gog, y lo sepultaré allí, al oriente del mar, en el Valle de los Viajeros. Como esto les cerrará el paso a los que pasen por allí, lo llamarán Valle de Gamón Gog, porque allí enterrarán a Gog y a todo su ejército.

And it shall come to pass in that day, I will give unto Gog a place there for burial in Israel, the valley of the passers-by to the east of the sea; and it shall stop of the passers-by; and there shall they bury Gog and all the multitude; and they shall call it, Valley of Hamon-Gog.

12 P ara limpiar la tierra, el pueblo de Israel tardará siete meses para enterrarlos.

And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land;

13 T odo el pueblo de la tierra participará en ese entierro, y ese día yo seré glorificado, y para ellos será un día memorable. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

and all the people of the land shall bury; and it shall be to them for renown in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord Jehovah.

14 ” Al cabo de siete meses se hará un reconocimiento. Se contratará gente que recorra el país para enterrar a los que aún queden tendidos en el suelo, y así limpiar la tierra.

And they shall sever out men of continual employment to go through the land, who, with the passers-by, shall bury those that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it: at the end of seven months shall they make a search.

15 C uando en su recorrido esa gente vea los huesos de algún cadáver, pondrá a su lado una señal, la cual permanecerá allí, hasta que los sepultureros los entierren en el Valle de Gamón Gog.

And the passers-by shall pass through the land, and when seeth a man's bone, he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-Gog.

16 A sí se limpiará la tierra, y la ciudad se llamará también Hamona.”»

And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

17 A sí ha dicho Dios el Señor: «Hijo de hombre, diles a las aves de toda especie, y a todas las fieras salvajes, que se junten de todas partes y vengan acá, a participar del gran sacrificio que voy a ofrecerles sobre los montes de Israel. Van a comer carne y a beber sangre.

And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Speak unto the birds of every wing, and to every beast of the field, Gather yourselves together and come, assemble yourselves on every side to my sacrifice which I sacrifice for you, a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 C omerán la carne de guerreros, y beberán la sangre de príncipes de la tierra, y de carneros, corderos, machos cabríos, bueyes y toros, todos ellos engordados en Basán.

Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatted beasts of Bashan.

19 C omerán grasa hasta quedar hastiados, y beberán hasta embriagarse la sangre de las víctimas que sacrifiqué para ellos.

And ye shall eat fat till ye are full, and drink blood till ye are drunken, of my sacrifice which I sacrifice for you.

20 E n ese banquete que les ofreceré se saciarán de caballos y de aguerridos jinetes, y de toda clase de hombres de guerra. Palabra de Dios el Señor.

And ye shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord Jehovah.

21 » Pondré mi gloria entre las naciones, y todas las naciones me verán sentenciarlos y darles su merecido.

And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have executed, and my hand which I have laid upon them.

22 A partir de ese día, el pueblo de Israel sabrá que yo soy el Señor su Dios.

And the house of Israel shall know that I Jehovah their God from that day and forward.

23 T ambién sabrán las naciones que el pueblo de Israel fue llevado al cautiverio por causa de su pecado, pues yo les di la espalda y los entregué en manos de sus enemigos, y todos cayeron a filo de espada, porque se rebelaron contra mí.

And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they were unfaithful against me; and I hid my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies, so that they fell all of them by the sword.

24 Y o les di la espalda y los traté conforme a su inmundicia y conforme a sus rebeliones.»

According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I did unto them, and I hid my face from them.

25 P or lo tanto, así ha dicho Dios el Señor: «Ahora voy a cambiar la suerte de Jacob. Voy a tener misericordia de todo el pueblo de Israel, y a mostrarme celoso de mi santo nombre.

Therefore, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name:

26 C uando ya vivan tranquilos en su tierra y no haya quien los espante, sentirán vergüenza por todas sus rebeliones y por haber pecado contra mí.

and they shall bear their confusion, and all their unfaithfulness in which they have acted unfaithfully against me, when they shall dwell safely in their land, and none shall make them afraid;

27 C uando yo los reúna y los haga salir de entre los pueblos de sus enemigos, y sea yo santificado en ellos a la vista de muchas naciones,

when I have brought them again from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations.

28 y cuando después de haberlos llevado al cautiverio entre las naciones los reúna en su tierra, sin dejar allá a ninguno de ellos, sabrán que yo soy el Señor su Dios.

And they shall know that I Jehovah their God, in that I caused them to be led into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 N o volveré a darles la espalda, porque habré derramado mi espíritu sobre el pueblo de Israel.» Palabra de Dios el Señor.

And I will not hide my face any more from them, for I shall have poured out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
