1 J irán hizo además un altar de bronce de nueve metros de largo por nueve metros de ancho, y cuatro y medio metros de alto.

And he made a brazen altar: its length was twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and its height ten cubits.

2 H izo también un mar de fundición totalmente redondo, que de un borde al otro medía cuatro y medio metros, por dos metros y veinticinco centímetros de altura, ceñido por un cordón de trece y medio metros de largo.

And he made the sea, molten, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it round about.

3 D ebajo del mar había dos hileras de calabazas fundidas juntamente con el mar. Estas figuras de calabazas circundaban el mar, y cada medio metro había diez de ellas.

And under it was the similitude of oxen, encompassing it round about, ten in a cubit enclosing the sea round about, two rows of oxen, cast when it was cast.

4 E l mar estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes, con las ancas hacia adentro. Tres de ellos miraban al norte, tres al sur, tres al oriente y tres al occidente, y sobre ellos descansaba el mar.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

5 T enía un grosor de siete centímetros, y el borde tenía la forma del borde de un cáliz, o de un lirio. Su capacidad era de sesenta mil litros.

And its thickness was a hand-breadth, and its brim like the work of the brim of a cup, with lily-blossoms; in capacity it held three thousand baths.

6 H izo también diez fuentes, y puso cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda, para lavar y limpiar en ellas lo que se ofrecía en holocausto. El mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.

And he made ten lavers, and put five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them: they rinsed in them what they prepared for the burnt-offering; and the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7 J irán hizo también diez candeleros de oro según su forma, y los puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda.

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to the ordinance respecting them, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left.

8 A demás, hizo diez mesas y las puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda; igualmente, hizo cien tazones de oro.

And he made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left. And he made a hundred golden bowls.

9 T ambién hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, y el gran atrio, y las portadas del atrio, y sus puertas las recubrió de bronce.

And he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors thereof with bronze.

10 E l mar lo colocó al lado derecho, hacia el sureste del templo.

And he set the sea on the right side eastward, over against the south.

11 J irán hizo también calderos, palas y tazones, y así concluyó la obra para el templo de Dios, que hizo para el rey Salomón:

And Huram made the pots and the shovels and the bowls. So Huram ended doing the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God:

12 l as dos columnas, los cordones, los capiteles sobre las cabezas de las dos columnas, dos redes para cubrir las dos esferas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

two pillars, and the globes and the capitals on the top of the pillars, two; and the two networks, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars;

13 c uatrocientas granadas en las dos redes, dos hileras de granadas en cada red, para que cubrieran las dos esferas de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two globes of the capitals which were upon the pillars.

And he made the bases, and he made the lavers on the bases;

one sea, and the twelve oxen under it.

16 l os calderos, las palas y los garfios. Jirán Abí hizo de bronce muy fino, para el rey Salomón, todos los enseres para el templo del Señor.

And the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their instruments did Huram Abiv make king Solomon for the house of Jehovah, of bright brass.

17 E l rey los fundió en la tierra arcillosa de los llanos del Jordán, entre Sucot y Seredata.

In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay-ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18 T odos estos enseres los hizo Salomón en número tan grande, que nunca pudo saberse el peso del bronce.

And Solomon made all these vessels in great number; for the weight of the brass was not ascertained.

19 A sí fue como Salomón hizo todos los utensilios para el templo de Dios, y el altar de oro, y las mesas sobre las cuales se ponían los panes de la proposición,

And Solomon made all the vessels that were the house of God: the golden altar; and the tables whereon was the shewbread;

20 a sí como los candeleros y sus lámparas de oro puro, para que las encendieran delante del lugar santísimo, conforme a la ordenanza.

and the candlesticks with their lamps to burn according to the ordinance before the oracle, of pure gold;

21 L as flores, lamparillas y tenazas se hicieron de oro finísimo.

and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold (it was perfect gold);

22 L as despabiladeras, los lebrillos, las cucharas y los incensarios también eran de oro puro, lo mismo que la entrada del templo, sus puertas interiores para el lugar santísimo, y las puertas del templo.

and the knives, and the bowls, and the cups, and the censers, of pure gold; and the entrance of the house, the inner folding-doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.
