1 » Harás también un altar de madera de acacia para quemar el incienso.

And thou shalt make an altar for the burning of incense: of acacia-wood shalt thou make it;

2 E ste altar será cuadrado, de cuarenta y cinco centímetros por lado, y noventa centímetros de alto. Sus cuernos serán parte del altar mismo.

a cubit the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof—square shall it be; and two cubits its height; of itself shall be its horns.

3 R ecubrirás de oro puro su cubierta, todo el derredor de sus paredes y sus cuernos, y lo rodearás con una cornisa de oro.

And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make upon it a border of gold round about.

4 L e pondrás dos anillos de oro en las dos esquinas de ambos lados, por debajo de la cornisa, para pasar por ellos las varas con que será transportado.

And two rings of gold shalt thou make for it under its border; by its two corners shalt thou make, on the two sides thereof; and they shall be for receptacles for the staves, with which to carry it.

5 H arás las varas de madera de acacia, y las recubrirás de oro,

And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold.

6 y pondrás el altar delante del velo que está junto al arca del testimonio, es decir, delante del propiciatorio que está sobre el testimonio, que es donde me encontraré contigo.

And thou shalt put it in front of the veil which is before the ark of the testimony in front of the mercy-seat which is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

7 Y cada mañana, cuando Aarón aliste las lámparas, quemará sobre él incienso aromático.

And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense: every morning, when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn the incense.

8 T ambién quemará el incienso al anochecer, cuando Aarón encienda las lámparas. Éste será un rito perpetuo delante del Señor por todas las generaciones.

And when Aaron lighteth the lamps between the two evenings, he shall burn the incense—a continual incense before Jehovah throughout your generations.

9 N o ofrecerán sobre él ningún otro incienso ni holocausto ni ofrenda; tampoco derramarán sobre él libación alguna.

Ye shall offer up no strange incense thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor oblation; neither shall ye pour drink-offering thereon.

10 C on la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado, una vez al año Aarón hará expiación sobre los cuernos del altar. Por todas las generaciones, una vez al año hará expiación sobre él. Este altar será muy santo en honor del Señor.» El dinero del rescate

And Aaron shall make atonement for its horns once in the year: with the blood of the sin-offering of atonement shall he make atonement for it, once in the year, throughout your generations: it is most holy to Jehovah.

11 E l Señor habló también con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

12 « Cuando hagas un recuento del número de los hijos de Israel, una vez que los hayas contado cada uno de ellos deberá darme a mí, el Señor, el rescate de su persona. Así no habrá mortandad entre ellos.

When thou shalt take the sum of the children of Israel according to those of them that are numbered, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul to Jehovah on their being numbered, that there be no plague among them on their being numbered.

13 T odo aquel que sea contado deberá pagar cinco gramos de plata, que es la mitad del peso oficial del santuario. La ofrenda al Señor será de cinco gramos de plata.

This shall they give—every one that passeth among them that are numbered—half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary,—twenty gerahs the shekel; a half shekel shall be the heave-offering for Jehovah.

14 T odo el que sea contado y que tenga más de veinte años de edad, deberá dar esta ofrenda al Señor.

Every one that passeth among those that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the heave-offering of Jehovah.

15 A l dar la ofrenda al Señor para la expiación de personas, ni el rico dará más de cinco gramos de plata, ni el pobre dará menos.

The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when ye give the heave-offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

16 R ecibirás de los hijos de Israel el dinero de las expiaciones, y lo entregarás para el servicio del tabernáculo de reunión. Esto será para los hijos de Israel un memorial delante del Señor, para que se haga la expiación por ellos.» La fuente de bronce

And thou shalt take the atonement-money of the children of Israel, and devote it to the service of the tent of meeting; and it shall be a memorial to the children of Israel before Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

17 E l Señor le dijo también a Moisés:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

18 « Harás también una fuente de bronce, con su base de bronce, para lavarse. La colocarás entre el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y en ella pondrás agua

Thou shalt also make a laver of copper, and its stand of copper, for washing; and thou shalt put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put water in it.

19 p ara que Aarón y sus hijos se laven las manos y los pies.

And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet out of it.

20 P ara que no mueran, ellos deberán lavarse con agua al entrar en el tabernáculo de reunión, y cuando se acerquen al altar para ministrar y quemar la ofrenda encendida en honor del Señor.

When they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they may not die; or when they come near to the altar to serve, to burn an offering by fire to Jehovah.

21 D eberán lavarse las manos y los pies, para que no mueran. Esto será un estatuto perpetuo para Aarón y su descendencia, por todas las generaciones.» El aceite de la unción, y el incienso

And they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they may not die; and it shall be an everlasting statute for them, for him and for his seed throughout their generations.

22 E l Señor también le dijo a Moisés:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

23 « Tomarás especias finas: seis kilos de la mejor mirra, tres kilos de canela aromática, tres kilos de cálamo aromático,

And thou, take best spices—of liquid myrrh five hundred, and of sweet cinnamon the half—two hundred and fifty, and of sweet myrtle two hundred and fifty,

24 y seis kilos de canela, según el peso oficial del santuario, y tres litros de aceite de oliva.

and of cassia five hundred, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin;

25 C on esto harás un aceite aromático, es decir, un perfume, el cual será el aceite de la santa unción.

and make of it an oil of holy ointment, a perfume of perfumery after the work of the perfumer: it shall be the holy anointing oil.

26 C on él ungirás el tabernáculo de reunión, el arca del testimonio,

And thou shalt anoint the tent of meeting with it, and the ark of the testimony,

27 l a mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelero con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,

and the table and all its utensils, and the lamp-stand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,

28 e l altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios, y la fuente y su base.

and the altar of burnt-offering and all its utensils, and the laver and its stand.

29 D e este modo los consagrarás, y serán cosas santísimas; todo lo que llegue a tocarlos, quedará santificado.

And thou shalt hallow them, that they may be most holy: whatever toucheth them shall be holy.

30 U ngirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos, y los consagrarás para que sean mis sacerdotes.

And Aaron and his sons thou shalt anoint, and shalt hallow them, that they may serve me as priests.

31 Y hablarás con los hijos de Israel y les dirás: Éste será mi aceite de la santa unción, por todas las generaciones.

And thou shalt speak to the children of Israel, saying, A holy anointing oil shall this be unto me throughout your generations.

32 N o se derramará sobre el cuerpo de ningún hombre, ni se hará otro aceite semejante, ni con esta composición. Es un aceite santo, y así deberán mantenerlo.

Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make like it, after the preparation of it: it is holy—holy shall it be unto you.

33 C ualquiera que componga un aceite semejante, y que lo derrame sobre algún extraño, será expulsado de su pueblo.»

Whoever compoundeth like it, or whoever putteth of it upon any strange thing, shall be cut off from his peoples.

34 A demás, el Señor le dijo a Moisés: «Tomarás una misma cantidad de especias aromáticas, estacte, uña aromática, gálbano aromático e incienso puro,

And Jehovah said to Moses, Take fragrant drugs—stacte, and onycha, and galbanum—fragrant drugs and pure frankincense; in like proportions shall it be.

35 y con todo eso prepararás el incienso aromático, bien mezclado, como un perfume, puro y santo.

And thou shalt make it into incense, a perfume, after the work of the perfumer, salted, pure, holy.

36 U na parte la molerás muy fino, y ese polvo lo pondrás en el tabernáculo de reunión, delante del testimonio, que es donde yo me mostraré a ti. Será para ustedes una cosa santísima.

And thou shalt beat of it to powder, and put of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

37 N o harán ustedes otro incienso semejante a éste en su composición. Será para ti una cosa sagrada en honor del Señor.

And the incense that thou shalt make, ye shall not make for yourselves according to the proportions of it; it shall be unto thee holy to Jehovah.

38 C ualquiera que haga otro perfume como éste para disfrutar de su fragancia, será expulsado de su pueblo.»

Whoever maketh like unto it, to smell it, shall be cut off from his peoples.
