1 Now Bezalel and Oholiab, and every skillful person in whom the Lord has put skill and understanding to know how to perform all the work in the construction of the sanctuary, shall perform in accordance with all that the Lord has commanded.”

Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whom Jehovah had put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work of the service of the sanctuary—according to all that Jehovah had commanded.

2 T hen Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every skillful person in whom the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to perform it.

And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every man that was wise-hearted, in whose heart God had put wisdom, every one whose heart moved him to come to the work to do it.

3 T hey received from Moses all the contributions which the sons of Israel had brought to perform the work in the construction of the sanctuary. And they still continued bringing to him freewill offerings every morning.

And they took from Moses every heave-offering that the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it. And they still brought him voluntary offerings morning by morning.

4 A nd all the skillful men who were performing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work which he was performing,

And all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came, every man from his work which they wrought,

5 a nd they said to Moses, “ The people are bringing much more than enough for the construction work which the Lord commanded us to perform.”

and spoke to Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work that Jehovah commanded to be done.

6 S o Moses issued a command, and a proclamation was circulated throughout the camp, saying, “Let no man or woman any longer perform work for the contributions of the sanctuary.” Thus the people were restrained from bringing any more.

Then Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed through the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary! So the people were restrained from bringing;

7 F or the material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to perform it. Construction Proceeds

for the work they had was sufficient for all the work to do it, and it was too much.

8 A ll the skillful men among those who were performing the work made the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet material, with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman, Bezalel made them.

And every wise-hearted man among those that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of twined byssus, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: cherubim of artistic work did he make them.

9 T he length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits and the width of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains had the same measurements.

And he coupled five of the curtains one to another, and five curtains coupled he one to another.

11 H e made loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set; he did likewise on the edge of the curtain that was outermost in the second set.

And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain at the edge of the coupling; he did likewise in the edge of the outermost curtain in the other coupling.

12 H e made fifty loops in the one curtain and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was in the second set; the loops were opposite each other.

He made fifty loops in one curtain, and he made fifty loops at the end of the curtain that was in the other coupling: the loops were opposite to one another.

13 H e made fifty clasps of gold and joined the curtains to one another with the clasps, so the tabernacle was a unit.

14 T hen he made curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; he made eleven curtains in all.

And he made curtains of goats' for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains did he make them.

15 T he length of each curtain was thirty cubits and four cubits the width of each curtain; the eleven curtains had the same measurements.

The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits the breadth of one curtain—one measure for the eleven curtains.

16 H e joined five curtains by themselves and the other six curtains by themselves.

And he coupled five of the curtains by themselves, and six of the curtains by themselves.

17 M oreover, he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outermost in the first set, and he made fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that was outermost in the second set.

ten cubits the length of the boards, and one cubit and a half the breadth of one board;

22 T here were two tenons for each board, fitted to one another; thus he did for all the boards of the tabernacle.

two tenons in one board, connected one with the other: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 H e made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side;

And he made the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side southward;

24 a nd he made forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.

and he made forty bases of silver under the twenty boards, two bases under one board, for its two tenons, and two bases under another board for its two tenons.

25 T hen for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, he made twenty boards,

And at the rear of the tabernacle, westward, he made six boards;

28 H e made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear.

and he made two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear;

29 T hey were double beneath, and together they were complete to its top to the first ring; thus he did with both of them for the two corners.

and they were joined beneath, and were coupled together at the top thereof into one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners;

30 T here were eight boards with their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two under every board.

and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle at the rear, westward.

33 H e made the middle bar to pass through in the center of the boards from end to end.

And he made the middle bar in the midst of the boards reach from one end to the other.

34 H e overlaid the boards with gold and made their rings of gold as holders for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

And he overlaid the boards with gold; and made their rings of gold receptacles for the bars; and overlaid the bars with gold.
