1 T he Lord also spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2 “ Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘ When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man have a flux from his flesh, because of his flux he is unclean.
3 T his, moreover, shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: it is his uncleanness whether his body allows its discharge to flow or whether his body obstructs its discharge.
And this shall be his uncleanness in his flux: whether his flesh run with his flux, or his flesh be closed from his flux, it is his uncleanness.
4 E very bed on which the person with the discharge lies becomes unclean, and everything on which he sits becomes unclean.
Every bed whereon he lieth that hath the flux shall be unclean; and every object on which he sitteth shall be unclean.
5 A nyone, moreover, who touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening;
And whoever toucheth his bed shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
6 a nd whoever sits on the thing on which the man with the discharge has been sitting, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And he that sitteth on any object whereon he sat that hath the flux shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
7 A lso whoever touches the person with the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the flux shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
8 O r if the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, he too shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And if he that hath the flux spit upon him that is clean, then he shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
9 E very saddle on which the person with the discharge rides becomes unclean.
And what carriage soever he rideth upon that hath the flux shall be unclean.
10 W hoever then touches any of the things which were under him shall be unclean until evening, and he who carries them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And whoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the even; and he that carrieth them shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
11 L ikewise, whomever the one with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And whomsoever he toucheth who hath the flux and hath not rinsed his hands in water—he shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
12 H owever, an earthenware vessel which the person with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden vessel shall be rinsed in water.
And the vessel of earth that he toucheth who hath the flux shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
13 ‘ Now when the man with the discharge becomes cleansed from his discharge, then he shall count off for himself seven days for his cleansing; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in running water and will become clean.
And when he that hath a flux is clean of his flux, then he shall count seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and he shall be clean.
14 T hen on the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord to the doorway of the tent of meeting and give them to the priest;
And on the eighth day he shall take two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, and come before Jehovah unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, and give them unto the priest.
15 a nd the priest shall offer them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before the Lord because of his discharge.
And the priest shall offer them, one as a sin-offering, and one as a burnt-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah for his flux.
16 ‘ Now if a man has a seminal emission, he shall bathe all his body in water and be unclean until evening.
And if any man's seed of copulation pass from him, then he shall bathe his whole flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
17 A s for any garment or any leather on which there is seminal emission, it shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.
And every garment, and every skin, whereon the seed of copulation shall be, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
18 I f a man lies with a woman so that there is a seminal emission, they shall both bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And a woman with whom a man lieth with seed of copulation—they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
19 ‘ When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.
And if a woman have a flux, and her flux in her flesh be blood, she shall be seven days in her separation, and whoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
20 E verything also on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean.
And everything that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean; and everything that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
21 A nyone who touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And whoever toucheth her bed shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
22 W hoever touches any thing on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And whoever toucheth any object that she sat upon shall wash his garments, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
23 W hether it be on the bed or on the thing on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening.
And if it be on the bed, or on anything whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
24 I f a man actually lies with her so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
And if a man lie with her at all, and the uncleanness of her separation come upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
25 ‘ Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond that period, all the days of her impure discharge she shall continue as though in her menstrual impurity; she is unclean.
And if a woman have her flux of blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if she have the flux beyond the time of her separation, all the days of the flux of her uncleanness shall she be as the days of her separation: she is unclean.
26 A ny bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her like her bed at menstruation; and every thing on which she sits shall be unclean, like her uncleanness at that time.
Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her flux shall be unto her as the bed of her separation; and every object on which she sitteth shall be unclean, according to the uncleanness of her separation.
27 L ikewise, whoever touches them shall be unclean and shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
And whoever toucheth them shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the even.
28 W hen she becomes clean from her discharge, she shall count off for herself seven days; and afterward she will be clean.
And if she be cleansed of her flux then she shall count seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
29 T hen on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them in to the priest, to the doorway of the tent of meeting.
And on the eighth day she shall take two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting.
30 T he priest shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on her behalf before the Lord because of her impure discharge.’
And the priest shall offer the one as a sin-offering, and the other as a burnt-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her before Jehovah for the flux of her uncleanness.
31 “ Thus you shall keep the sons of Israel separated from their uncleanness, so that they will not die in their uncleanness by their defiling My tabernacle that is among them.”
And ye shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is in their midst.
32 T his is the law for the one with a discharge, and for the man who has a seminal emission so that he is unclean by it,
This is the law for him that hath a flux, and for the one whose seed of copulation goeth from him, and who is defiled therewith:
33 a nd for the woman who is ill because of menstrual impurity, and for the one who has a discharge, whether a male or a female, or a man who lies with an unclean woman.
and for a woman who is sick in her separation, and for him that hath his flux; for the man and for the woman, and for him that lieth with her that is unclean.
