1 N ow concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

При това, братя, желая да разбирате и за духовните дарби.

2 Y e know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

Вие знаете, че когато бяхте езичници, се отвличахте към немите идоли, както и да ви водеха.

3 W herefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Затова ви известявам, че никой, като говори с Божия Дух, не казва: Да бъде проклет Исус! И никой не може да нарече Исус Господ, освен със Святия Дух.

4 N ow there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Дарбите са различни, но Духът е същият.

5 A nd there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

Службите са различни, но Господ е същият.

6 A nd there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Различни са и действията, но Бог е същият, Който върши всичко във всички човеци.

7 B ut the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

А на всеки се дава проявяването на Духа за обща полза.

8 F or to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

Защото на един се дава чрез Духа да говори с мъдрост, а на друг - да говори със знание чрез същия Дух,

9 t o another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

на друг - вяра чрез същия Дух, а пък на друг - изцелителни дарби чрез единия Дух;

10 t o another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

на друг - да върши велики дела, а на друг - да пророкува; на друг - да разпознава духовете; на друг - да говори разни езици; а пък на друг - да тълкува езици.

11 b ut all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

А всичко това се върши от един и същи Дух, Който разделя на всеки поотделно, както иска. Едно тяло, съставено от много части

12 F or as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Защото както тялото е едно, а има много части, и всички части на тялото, ако и да са много, пак са едно тяло, така е и Христос.

13 F or by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Защото всички ние, било юдеи или гърци, било роби или свободни, се кръстихме в един Дух да съставляваме едно тяло и всички с един Дух се напоихме.

14 F or the body is not one member, but many.

Защото тялото не се състои от една част, а от много.

15 I f the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

Ако кажеше кракът: Понеже не съм ръка, не съм от тялото, това не го прави да не е от тялото.

16 A nd if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

И ако каже ухото: Понеже не съм око, не съм от тялото, това не го прави да не е от тялото.

17 I f the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

Ако цялото тяло беше око, къде щеше да е слухът? Ако цялото беше слух, къде щеше да е обонянието?

18 B ut now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

Но сега Бог е поставил частите, всяка една от тях, в тялото, както Му е било угодно.

19 A nd if they were all one member, where were the body?

И пак, ако те бяха всички една част, къде щеше да е тялото?

20 B ut now are they many members, yet but one body.

Но сега те са много части, а пък едно тяло.

21 A nd the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

И окото не може да каже на ръката: Не ми трябваш; или пък главата на краката: Не ми трябвате.

22 N ay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

Напротив, тези части на тялото, които се виждат да са по-слаби, са необходими;

23 a nd those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

и тези части на тялото, които ни се виждат по-малко достойни за почит, тях обличаме с повече почит; и неблагоприличните ни части получават най-голямо благоприличие.

24 F or our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

А благоприличните ни части нямат нужда от това. Но Бог е сглобил тялото така, че е дал по-голяма почит на онази част, която не я притежава;

25 t hat there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

за да няма раздор в тялото, а частите му да се грижат еднакво една за друга.

26 A nd whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

И ако страда една част, всички части страдат с нея; или ако се слави една част, всички части се радват заедно с нея.

27 N ow ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

А вие сте Христово тяло и поотделно - части от Него.

28 A nd God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

И Бог е поставил някои в църквата да бъдат: първо апостоли, второ пророци, трето учители, други да правят чудеса, някои имат изцелителни дарби, други с дарби на подпомагане, на управляване, на говорене разни езици.

29 A re all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

Всички апостоли ли са? Всички пророци ли са? Всички учители ли са? Всички вършат ли чудеса?

30 h ave all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

Всички имат ли изцелителни дарби? Всички говорят ли езици? Всички тълкуват ли?

31 B ut covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
