1 M oreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the Lord’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

При това Духът ме вдигна и ме отнесе до източната порта на Господния дом, която гледа към изток; и, ето, във входа на портата - двадесет и пет мъже, между които видях Яазания, Азуровия син, и Фелатия, Венайевия син, първенци между народа.

2 T hen said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

И Господ ми каза: Сине човешки, тези са мъжете, които измислят неправда и които дават нечестив съвет в този град, като казват:

3 w hich say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

Времето не е близо да съградим къщи; този град е котел, а ние месо.

4 T herefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

Затова пророкувай против тях, пророкувай, сине човешки.

5 A nd the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

Господният Дух се спусна върху мен и ми каза: Говори. Така казва Господ: Това е, което сте казали, доме Израелев; защото Аз зная помислите на духа ви.

6 Y e have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

Убихте мнозина в този град и напълнихте улиците му със заклани.

7 T herefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Затова така казва Господ Йехова: Избитите от вас, които постлахте сред него, те са месо, а този град е котел; обаче, Аз ще ви извадя изсред него.

8 Y e have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.

От меча се бояхте; и меч ще докарам върху вас, казва Господ Йехова.

9 A nd I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

Ще ви извадя изсред града и ще ви предам в ръцете на чужденци, и ще извърша съд сред вас.

10 Y e shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

От меч ще паднете; в Израелевите предели ще ви съдя; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

11 T his city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

Този град няма да ви бъде котел, нито вие ще бъдете месо сред него; в Израелевите предели ще ви съдя;

12 a nd ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ; понеже не ходихте в наредбите Ми, нито изпълнявахте законите Ми, но постъпвахте според законите на народите около вас.

13 A nd it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

А докато пророкувах, Фелатия, Венайевият син, умря. Тогава паднах на лицето си и извиках с висок глас: Горко, Господи Йехова! Ще довършиш ли Ти останалите от Израел?

14 A gain the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

И Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

15 S on of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession.

Сине човешки, братята ти, да! Твоите братя, сродните ти мъже и целият Израелев дом, те всички са онези, на които йерусалимските жители казаха: Отдалечете се от Господа; тази земя бе дадена на нас за владение.

16 T herefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

Затова кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже ги преместих далеч между народите и понеже ги разпръснах по разни страни и съм им бил за кратко време светилище в страните, където са отишли,

17 T herefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

затова кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ще ви събера от народите, ще ви прибера от страните, където сте разпръснати, и ще ви дам Израелевата земя.

18 A nd they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

И като дойдат там, ще махнат от нея всичките ѝ гнусотии и всичките ѝ мерзости.

19 A nd I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Аз ще им дам едно сърце и ще вложа вътре в тях нов дух; и като отнема каменното сърце от плътта им, ще им дам крехко сърце,

20 t hat they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

за да ходят в наредбите Ми и да пазят законите Ми, и да ги вършат. И те ще бъдат Мой народ и Аз ще бъда техен Бог.

21 B ut as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.

А колкото до онези, чието сърце постъпва според гнусните им и мерзостни желания, ще възвърна постъпките им върху главите им, казва Господ Йехова.

22 T hen did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Тогава херувимите повдигнаха крилата си и колелата се издигнаха край тях; и славата на Израелевия Бог беше отгоре им.

23 A nd the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

И Господнята слава се издигна изсред града и застана на хълма, който е на изток от града.

24 A fterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

А Духът, като ме издигна, ме отнесе чрез видение, с Божия Дух, в Халдейската земя, при пленниците. Тогава видението, което бях видял, си отиде от мене.

25 T hen I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the Lord had shewed me.

После казах на пленниците всички тези думи, които Господ ми беше показал.
