1 T hus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Така казва Господ: Небето Ми е престол и земята е Мое подножие; какъв дом искате да построите за Мен? И какво ще бъде мястото на Моя покой?

2 F or all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Защото Моята ръка е направила всичко това и по този начин всичко това е станало, казва Господ; но пак към този ще погледна, към онзи, който е сиромах и съкрушен духом и който трепери от словото Ми.

3 H e that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Който коли вол, е както онзи, който убива човек; който жертва агне - както онзи, който пресича врат на куче; който принася хлебен принос - както онзи, който принася свинска кръв; който кади възпоменателен ливан - както онзи, който благославя идол. Да! Както те са избрали своите пътища и душата им се наслаждава в гнусотиите им,

4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

така и Аз ще избера мечтите им и ще докарам върху тях онези неща, от които те се боят; защото когато виках, никой не отговаряше, когато говорех, те не слушаха; а вършеха това, което беше зло пред Мен, и избираха онова, което Ми беше неугодно.

5 H ear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Вие, които треперите от словото на Господа, слушайте словото Му, като казва: Братята ви, които ви мразят, които ви отхвърлят поради Моето име, са казали: Господ нека прослави Себе Си, за да видим вашата радост! Но те ще се посрамят.

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Звучен глас се чува от града, глас от храма, глас на Господа, Който отплаща на враговете Си.

7 B efore she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Преди да започне да се мъчи, тя роди; преди да дойдат болките ѝ, се освободи и роди момченце.

8 W ho hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Кой е чул за такова нещо? Кой е видял нещо подобно? Би ли се родила цяла земя за един ден? Или би ли се родил един народ отведнъж? А сионската дъщеря, щом започна да се мъчи, роди синовете си.

9 S hall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Аз, Който довеждам до раждане, не бих ли направил да роди? - казва Господ; Аз, Който правя да раждат, бих ли затворил утробата ? - казва твоят Бог.

10 R ejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

Развеселете се с йерусалимската дъщеря и се радвайте с нея, всички вие, които я обичате; развеселете се с нея в радостта ѝ, всички вие, които скърбите за нея;

11 t hat ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

за да сучете и се наситите от гърдите на утешенията ѝ; за да се насучете и се насладите от изобилието на славата ѝ.

12 F or thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

Защото така казва Господ: Ето, ще простирам към нея мир като река и славата на народите - като преливащ поток; тогава ще се насучете, ще бъдете носени на обятия и ще бъдете галени на колена.

13 A s one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Както някой, когото майка му утешава, така Аз ще ви утеша; и ще се утешите в Йерусалим.

14 A nd when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Ще видите това и сърцето ви ще се зарадва, и костите ви ще виреят като зелена трева; и ще се познае, че ръката на Господа е със слугите Му, а гневът Му - против враговете Му.

15 F or, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Защото Господ ще дойде с огън и колесниците Му ще бъдат като вихрушка, за да излее гнева Си за ярост и изобличението Си - с огнени пламъци,

16 F or by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

защото с огън и с меча Си Господ ще се съди с всяка твар; и убитите от Господа ще бъдат много.

17 T hey that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.

Онези, които се освещават и очистват, за да отиват в градините след една ашера в средата, като ядат свинско месо, гнусотии и мишки, те всички ще загинат, казва Господ.

18 F or I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Защото Аз зная делата и помислите им и иде времето, когато ще събера всички народи и езици; и те ще дойдат и ще видят славата Ми.

19 A nd I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

И Аз ще поставя знамение между тях; и онези от тях, които се отърват, ще ги изпратя при народите - в Тарсис, Фул и Луд, които опъват лък, в Тувал и Яван, далечните острови, които не са чули за Мене, нито са видели славата Ми; и те ще изявяват славата Ми между народите.

20 A nd they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.

И ще доведат всичките ви братя от всички народи за принос на Господа - на коне, на колесници и на носилки, на мулета и на бързи камили, - към святия Ми хълм, Йерусалим, казва Господ, както израелтяните донасят принос в чист съд в дома Господен.

21 A nd I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.

А и от тях ще взема за свещеници и за левити, казва Господ.

22 F or as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Защото както новото небе и новата земя, които Аз ще направя, ще пребъдат пред Мене, казва Господ, така ще пребъде родът ви и името ви.

23 A nd it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

И от новолуние до новолуние, и от събота до събота ще идва всяка твар да се покланя пред Мене, казва Господ.

24 A nd they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

След като излязат, те ще видят труповете на хората, които са престъпили против Мене; защото техният червей няма да умре, нито ще угасне огънят им; и те ще бъдат отвратителни за всяка твар.
