1 T en piedad de mí, oh Dios, porque el hombre me ha pisoteado; Me oprime combatiéndome todo el día.

¶ Be merciful unto me, O God, for man would swallow me up; he oppresses me fighting me daily.

2 M is enemigos me han pisoteado todo el día, Porque muchos son los que con soberbia pelean contra mí.

My enemies would daily swallow me up, for they are many that fight against me, O thou most High.

3 E l día en que temo, Yo en Ti confío.

When I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

4 E n Dios, cuya palabra alabo, En Dios he confiado, no temeré. ¿Qué puede hacerme el hombre ?

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

5 T odo el día pervierten mis palabras; Todos sus pensamientos contra mí son para mal.

Every day my life is filled with sorrow; all their thoughts are against me for evil.

6 A tacan, se esconden, Espían mis pasos, Como esperando para quitarme la vida.

They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps when they wait for my soul.

7 P or causa de la iniquidad, arrójalos, En Tu ira humilla a los pueblos, oh Dios.

Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the peoples, O God.

8 T ú has tomado en cuenta mi vida errante; Pon mis lágrimas en Tu frasco; ¿ Acaso no están en Tu libro ?

¶ Thou tellest my wanderings; put my tears into thy bottle; are they not in thy book?

9 E ntonces mis enemigos retrocederán el día en que yo Te invoque. Esto sé: que Dios está a favor mío.

When I cry unto thee, then shall my enemies be turned back; in this I know that God is for me.

10 E n Dios, cuya palabra alabo, En el Señor, cuya palabra honro;

In God I will praise his word; in the LORD I will praise his word.

11 E n Dios he confiado, no temeré. ¿Qué puede hacerme el hombre?

In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid of what man can do unto me.

12 E stán sobre mí, oh Dios, los votos que Te hice; Ofrendas de acción de gracias Te ofreceré.

Thy promises are upon me, O God; I will render praises unto thee.

13 P ues Tú has librado mi alma de la muerte, Y mis pies de tropiezo, Para que yo pueda andar delante de Dios En la luz de la vida.

For thou hast delivered my life from death; thou hast kept my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.
