1 E l Señor habló así a Moisés en el desierto de Sinaí, en el primer mes del segundo año de su salida de la tierra de Egipto:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 “ Que los Israelitas celebren la Pascua a su tiempo señalado.

Let the sons of Israel also keep the passover at its appointed season.

3 E n el día catorce de este mes, al atardecer, ustedes la celebrarán a su tiempo señalado; la celebrarán conforme a todos sus estatutos y conforme a todas sus ordenanzas.”

In the fourteenth day of this month, between the two evenings, ye shall keep it in its appointed season; according to all its ordinance and according to all the laws thereof, shall ye keep it.

4 M andó, pues, Moisés a los Israelitas que celebraran la Pascua.

And Moses spoke unto the sons of Israel that they should keep the passover.

5 Y celebraron la Pascua en el mes primero, en el día catorce del mes, al atardecer, en el desierto de Sinaí; tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés, así lo hicieron los Israelitas.

And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month between the two evenings in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the sons of Israel.

6 P ero había algunos hombres que estaban inmundos por causa de una persona muerta, y no pudieron celebrar la Pascua aquel día. Y vinieron ante Moisés y Aarón aquel día,

And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day;

7 y aquellos hombres les dijeron: “ Aunque estemos inmundos por causa de una persona muerta, ¿por qué se nos impide presentar la ofrenda del Señor en su tiempo señalado entre los Israelitas?”

and those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man; why are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the sons of Israel?

8 E ntonces Moisés les dijo: “Esperen, y oiré lo que el Señor ordene acerca de ustedes.” Ley de la Pascua

And Moses said unto them, Wait, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.

9 E ntonces el Señor dijo a Moisés:

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

10 “ Habla a los Israelitas y diles: ‘Si alguien de ustedes o de sus descendientes (generaciones) está inmundo por causa de un muerto, o anda lejos de viaje, puede, sin embargo, celebrar la Pascua al Señor.

Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations should be unclean by reason of a dead body or be on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

11 L a celebrarán a los catorce días del segundo mes, al atardecer; la comerán con pan sin levadura y hierbas amargas.

The fourteenth day of the second month, between the two evenings they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

12 N ada dejarán de ella hasta la mañana, ni quebrarán hueso de ella; conforme a todos los estatutos de la Pascua la celebrarán.

They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it; according to all the ordinance of the passover they shall keep it.

13 P ero si alguien que está limpio y no anda de viaje, deja de celebrar la Pascua, esa persona será eliminada de entre su pueblo, porque no presentó la ofrenda del Señor a su tiempo señalado. Ese hombre llevará su pecado.

But the man that is clean and is not on a journey and forbears to keep the passover, that same soul shall be cut off from among his people; because he did not bring the offering of the LORD in his appointed season; that man shall bear his sin.

14 Y si un extranjero reside entre ustedes y celebra la Pascua al Señor, conforme al estatuto de la Pascua y conforme a su ordenanza lo hará; ustedes tendrán un solo estatuto, tanto para el extranjero como para el nativo de la tierra.’” La Nube sobre el Tabernáculo

And if a stranger shall sojourn among you and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover and according to the laws thereof, so shall he do; ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and for the natural of the land.

15 E l día que fue erigido el tabernáculo, la nube cubrió el tabernáculo, la tienda del testimonio, y al atardecer estaba sobre el tabernáculo algo que parecía de fuego, hasta la mañana.

¶ And on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle over the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there was upon the tabernacle, as it were, the appearance of fire until the morning.

16 A sí sucedía continuamente; la nube lo cubría de día, y la apariencia de fuego de noche.

So it was always: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.

17 Y cuando la nube se levantaba de sobre la tienda, enseguida los Israelitas partían; y en el lugar donde la nube se detenía, allí acampaban los Israelitas.

And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the sons of Israel journeyed; and in the place where the cloud abode, there the sons of Israel pitched their tents.

18 A l mandato del Señor los Israelitas partían, y al mandato del Señor acampaban; mientras la nube estaba sobre el tabernáculo, permanecían acampados.

At the commandment of the LORD the sons of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched camp; as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle, they rested.

19 A un cuando la nube se detenía sobre el tabernáculo por muchos días, los Israelitas guardaban la ordenanza del Señor y no partían.

And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the sons of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not journey.

20 C uando la nube permanecía algunos días sobre el tabernáculo, según la orden del Señor, permanecían acampados; y según la orden del Señor, partían.

And so it was, when the cloud was a determined number of days upon the tabernacle, according to the commandment of the LORD they camped, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.

21 P ero cuando la nube permanecía desde el atardecer hasta la mañana, y la nube se levantaba por la mañana, ellos partían; y si permanecía durante el día y durante la noche, cuando la nube se levantaba, ellos partían.

And so it was that when the cloud remained from evening unto the morning, and in the morning the cloud was taken up, then they journeyed; or if it had remained during the day and the cloud was taken up by night, they journeyed.

22 Y a fuera que la nube se detuviera sobre el tabernáculo permaneciendo sobre él dos días, o un mes, o un año, los Israelitas permanecían acampados y no partían; pero cuando se levantaba, partían.

Or if it was two days or a month or a year that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the sons of Israel camped and did not journey; but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

23 A l mandato del Señor acampaban, y al mandato del Señor partían; guardaban la ordenanza del Señor según el mandato del Señor por medio de Moisés.

At the commandment of the LORD they camped, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed, keeping the charge of the LORD, as the LORD had said by the hand of Moses.
