1 E ntonces el hombre me llevó a la puerta, la puerta que da hacia el oriente;

¶ Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east:

2 y vi que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía de la parte del oriente. Su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía de Su gloria.

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel that was coming from the east; and his noise was like the noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

3 T enía el aspecto de la visión que vi, como la visión que había visto cuando El vino a destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que yo había visto junto al río Quebar. Entonces me postré sobre mi rostro.

And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

4 L a gloria del Señor entró en el templo por el camino de la puerta que da hacia el oriente.

And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the east.

5 E ntonces el Espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior, y la gloria del Señor llenó el templo.

So the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

6 Y oí a uno que me hablaba desde el templo, mientras el hombre estaba de pie junto a mí,

And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

7 y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de Mi trono, el lugar de las plantas de Mis pies, donde habitaré entre los Israelitas para siempre. Y la casa de Israel no volverá a profanar Mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus prostituciones y con los cadáveres de sus reyes cuando mueran,

¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, in which I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel for ever, and my holy name, the house of Israel shall no longer defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their altars.

8 p oniendo su umbral junto a Mi umbral, y sus postes junto a Mis postes con sólo un muro entre ellos y Yo. Ellos han profanado Mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que han cometido; por eso los he consumido en Mi ira.

In their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their post by my post, and a wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

9 Q ue alejen ahora de Mí sus prostituciones y los cadáveres de sus reyes, y Yo habitaré entre ellos para siempre.

Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 “ Y tú, hijo de hombre, describe el templo a la casa de Israel, para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades, y tomen las medidas de su plano.

Thou son of man, show this house to the house of Israel that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them understand the pattern.

11 Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, enséñales el diseño del templo, su estructura, sus salidas, sus entradas, todos sus diseños, todos sus estatutos y todas sus leyes. Escribe esto ante sus ojos para que guarden todas sus leyes y todos sus estatutos, y los cumplan.

And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its pattern, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all its figures, and all its descriptions, and all its paintings, and all its laws; and write it in their sight that they may keep the whole form thereof and all the ordinances thereof and do them.

12 E sta es la ley del templo: todo su territorio sobre la cumbre del monte por todo alrededor será santísimo. Así es la ley del templo.

This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain it shall be built; the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

13 “ Estas son las medidas del altar en codos ( cada codo real de un codo y un palmo menor): la base, 52. 5 centímetros (un codo real), el ancho, 52. 5 centímetros; su reborde en la orilla por todo alrededor, 26 centímetros (un palmo). Y ésta será su altura:

¶ And these are the measures of the altar in cubits: The cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth; the middle rim, one cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about of a span. This shall be the high bottom of the altar.

14 d esde la base en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior será de 1. 05 metros, por un codo (52. 5 cm) de ancho; y desde el zócalo menor hasta el zócalo mayor será de 2. 1 metros, por 52. 5 centímetros de ancho.

And from the middle rim of the ground even to the lower settle, two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle to the greater settle, four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

15 E l hogar del altar será de 2. 1 metros, y del hogar del altar se extenderán hacia arriba cuatro cuernos.

So the altar, of four cubits; and above the altar, four horns.

16 E l hogar del altar será de 6. 30 metros de largo por 6. 30 metros de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados.

And the altar was twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

17 Y el zócalo será de 7. 35 metros de largo por 7. 35 metros de ancho por sus cuatro lados; el borde alrededor será de 26. 25 centímetros, y su base, de 52. 5 centímetros alrededor; sus gradas mirarán al oriente.”

And the patio was fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad on all four sides; and the border about it was half a cubit; and the middle which had a rim of a cubit on all sides; and its stairs were toward the east.

18 Y el hombre me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor Dios: ‘Estos son los estatutos para el altar el día que sea construido, para ofrecer holocaustos sobre él y para esparcir sobre él sangre.

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus hath the Lord GOD said: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

19 A los sacerdotes Levitas que son de la descendencia de Sadoc, que se acercan a Mí para servirme,’ declara el Señor Dios, ‘darás un novillo de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado.

And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, said the Lord GOD, a young bullock as sin.

20 Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre sus cuatro cuernos, en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y en el borde todo alrededor; así lo limpiarás y harás expiación por él.

And thou shalt take of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the patio and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou remove the sin and reconcile it.

21 L uego tomarás el novillo para la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar señalado del templo, fuera del santuario.

Then thou shalt take the bullock of the sin and burn it according to the law of the house, outside the sanctuary.

22 A l segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado, y purificarás el altar como lo purificaron con el novillo.

And on the second day thou shalt offer a he goat without blemish as sin; and they shall remove the sin from the altar, as they removed it with the bullock.

23 C uando hayas terminado de purificar lo, ofrecerás un novillo sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

When thou hast finished removing the sin, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 L os ofrecerás delante del Señor, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor.

And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

25 D urante siete días prepararás diariamente un macho cabrío para la ofrenda por el pecado; también serán preparados un novillo de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño.

Seven days shalt thou prepare each day a he goat as sin; and a young bullock and a ram out of the flock, without blemish, shall they sacrifice.

26 D urante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán; así lo consagrarán.

Seven days shall they atone the altar, and they shall cleanse it; and they shall extend their hands.

27 C uando hayan terminado estos días, sucederá que del octavo día en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán sobre el altar sus holocaustos y sus ofrendas de paz; y Yo Me complaceré en ustedes,’ declara el Señor Dios.”

And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall sacrifice your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, said the Lord GOD.
