1 H ow long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

¿Hasta cuándo, oh Señor ? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre ? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás de mí tu rostro ?

2 H ow long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

¿Hasta cuándo he de tomar consejo en mi alma, teniendo pesar en mi corazón todo el día ? ¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo se enaltecerá sobre mí?

3 C onsider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the death;

Considera y respóndeme, oh Señor, Dios mío; ilumina mis ojos, no sea que duerma el sueño de la muerte;

4 L est mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him! mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.

no sea que mi enemigo diga: Lo he vencido; y mis adversarios se regocijen cuando yo sea sacudido.

5 A s for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.

Mas yo en tu misericordia he confiado; mi corazón se regocijará en tu salvación.

6 I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Cantaré al Señor, porque me ha colmado de bienes.
