1 Y ea, at this my heart trembleth, And is moved out of its place.

Да! Поради това сърцето ми трепери И се измества от мястото си.

2 H ear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

Слушайте внимателно гърма на гласа Му, И шума, който излиза из устата Му.

3 H e sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightening unto the ends of the earth.

Праща го под цялото небе И светкавицата Си до краищата на земята;

4 A fter it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he restraineth not the lightnings when his voice is heard.

След нея рече глас, Гърми с гласа на величието Си, И не ги възпира щом се чуе гласа Му.

5 G od thundereth marvellously with his voice; Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

Бог гърми чудно с гласа Си, Върши велики дела, които не можем да разбираме;

6 F or he saith to the snow, Fall thou on the earth; Likewise to the shower of rain, And to the showers of his mighty rain.

Защото казва на снега: Вали на земята, - Също и на проливния дъжд и на поройните Си дъждове;

7 H e sealeth up the hand of every man, That all men whom he hath made may know it.

Запечатва ръката на всеки човек, Така щото всичките човеци, които е направил, да разбират силата Му.

8 T hen the beasts go into coverts, And remain in their dens.

Тогава зверовете влизат в скривалищата И остават в рововете си.

9 O ut of the chamber of the south cometh the storm, And cold out of the north.

От помещението си иде бурята, И студът от ветровете що разпръскват облаците.

10 B y the breath of God ice is given; And the breadth of the waters is straitened.

Чрез духане от Бога се дава лед, И широките води замръзват;

11 Y ea, he ladeth the thick cloud with moisture; He spreadeth abroad the cloud of his lightning:

Тоже гъстия облак Той натоварва с влага, Простира на широко светкавичния Си облак,

12 A nd it is turned round about by his guidance, That they may do whatsoever he commandeth them Upon the face of the habitable world,

Които според Неговото наставление се носят наоколо За да правят всичко що им заповядва По лицето на земното кълбо.

13 W hether it be for correction, or for his land, Or for lovingkindness, that he cause it to come.

Било, че за наказание, или за земята Си, Или за милост, ги докарва.

14 H earken unto this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

Слушай това, Иове, Застани та размисли върху чудесните Божии дела.

15 D ost thou know how God layeth his charge upon them, And causeth the lightning of his cloud to shine?

Разбираш ли как им налага Бог волята Си. И прави светкавицата да свети от облака Му?

16 D ost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

Разбираш ли как облаците увисват, Чудесните дела на Съвършения в знание? -

17 H ow thy garments are warm, When the earth is still by reason of the south wind?

Ти, чиито дрехи стават топли, Когато земята е в затишие, поради южния вятър,

18 C anst thou with him spread out the sky, Which is strong as a molten mirror?

Можеш ли като Него да разпростреш небето, Което, като леяно огледало е здраво?

19 T each us what we shall say unto him; For we cannot set our speech in order by reason of darkness.

Научи ни що да Му кажем, Защото поради невежество ние не можем да наредим думите си

20 S hall it be told him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?

Ще Му се извести ли, че желая да говоря, Като зная че, ако продума човек непременно ще бъде погълнат?

21 A nd now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; But the wind passeth, and cleareth them.

И сега човеците не могат да погледнат на светлината, Когато блещи на небето, като е заминал вятърът и го е очистил,

22 O ut of the north cometh golden splendor: God hath upon him terrible majesty.

Та е дошло златозарно сияние от север; А как ще погледнат на Бога, у Когото е страшна слава!

23 T ouching the Almighty, we cannot find him out He is excellent in power; And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.

Всемогъщ е, не можем да Го проумеем, превъзходен е в сила; А правосъдието и преизобилната правда Той няма да отврати.

24 M en do therefore fear him: He regardeth not any that are wise of heart.

Затова Му се боят човеците; Той не зачита никого от високоумните+.
