“ Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet material; you shall make them with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.

2 L a longitud de cada cortina será de 12. 6 metros, y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 8 metros. Todas las cortinas tendrán una misma medida.

The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall have the same measurements.

3 C inco cortinas estarán unidas una con la otra. También las otras cinco cortinas estarán unidas una con la otra.

Five curtains shall be joined to one another, and the other five curtains shall be joined to one another.

4 “ Harás lazos de tela azul en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace, y de la misma manera los harás en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set, and likewise you shall make them on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set.

5 H arás cincuenta lazos en la primera cortina, y harás cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina que está en el segundo enlace. Los lazos se corresponderán unos a otros.

You shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite each other.

6 H arás además cincuenta broches de oro, y con los broches unirás las cortinas una a la otra, de manera que el tabernáculo sea una unidad.

You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and join the curtains to one another with the clasps so that the tabernacle will be a unit. Curtains of Goats’ Hair

7 “ Harás también cortinas de pelo de cabra a manera de tienda sobre el tabernáculo. En total harás once cortinas.

“Then you shall make curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; you shall make eleven curtains in all.

8 L a longitud de cada cortina será de 13. 5 metros, y la anchura de cada cortina de 1. 8 metros. Las once cortinas tendrán una misma medida.

The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; the eleven curtains shall have the same measurements.

9 U nirás cinco cortinas entre sí y las otras seis cortinas también entre sí, y doblarás la sexta cortina en el frente de la tienda.

You shall join five curtains by themselves and the other six curtains by themselves, and you shall double over the sixth curtain at the front of the tent.

10 “ Harás cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del primer enlace, y cincuenta lazos en el borde de la cortina del extremo del segundo enlace.

You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the first set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set.

11 H arás además cincuenta broches de bronce, y pondrás los broches en los lazos y unirás la tienda para que sea un todo.

“You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and you shall put the clasps into the loops and join the tent together so that it will be a unit.

12 “ El exceso que sobra de las cortinas de la tienda, la media cortina que queda, caerá sobre la parte posterior del tabernáculo.

The overlapping part that is left over in the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that is left over, shall lap over the back of the tabernacle.

13 E n un lado 45 centímetros y en el otro lado 45 centímetros de lo que sobra de la longitud de las cortinas de la tienda, caerá en los costados del tabernáculo, a un lado y a otro, para cubrirlo.

The cubit on one side and the cubit on the other, of what is left over in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall lap over the sides of the tabernacle on one side and on the other, to cover it.

14 H arás también para la tienda una cubierta de pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, y otra cubierta de pieles de marsopa por encima.

You shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red and a covering of porpoise skins above. Boards and Sockets

15 “ Harás luego para el tabernáculo tablas de madera de acacia, colocándolas verticalmente.

“Then you shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing upright.

16 L a longitud de cada tabla será de 4. 5 metros, y de 68 centímetros la anchura de cada tabla.

Ten cubits shall be the length of each board and one and a half cubits the width of each board.

17 C ada tabla tendrá dos espigas para unirlas una con otra. Así harás con todas las tablas del tabernáculo.

There shall be two tenons for each board, fitted to one another; thus you shall do for all the boards of the tabernacle.

18 H arás, pues, las tablas para el tabernáculo: para el lado sur veinte tablas.

You shall make the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side.

19 “ También harás cuarenta basas de plata debajo de las veinte tablas: dos basas debajo de una tabla para sus dos espigas, y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla para sus dos espigas.

You shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons;

20 P ara el segundo lado del tabernáculo, al lado norte, veinte tablas,

and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards,

21 y sus cuarenta basas de plata: dos basas debajo de una tabla y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.

and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.

22 “ Para la parte posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente, harás seis tablas.

For the rear of the tabernacle, to the west, you shall make six boards.

23 H arás además dos tablas para las esquinas del tabernáculo en la parte posterior.

You shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle at the rear.

24 S erán dobles por abajo, y estarán completamente unidas por arriba hasta la primera argolla. Así será con las dos: formarán las dos esquinas.

They shall be double beneath, and together they shall be complete to its top to the first ring; thus it shall be with both of them: they shall form the two corners.

25 H abrá ocho tablas con sus basas de plata, 16 basas; dos basas debajo de una tabla y dos basas debajo de la otra tabla.

There shall be eight boards with their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.

26 “ Harás también barras de madera de acacia; cinco para las tablas de un lado del tabernáculo,

“Then you shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of one side of the tabernacle,

27 y cinco barras para las tablas del otro lado del tabernáculo, y cinco barras para las tablas del lado posterior del tabernáculo, hacia el occidente.

and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle for the rear side to the west.

28 L a barra del medio en el centro de las tablas pasará de un extremo al otro.

The middle bar in the center of the boards shall pass through from end to end.

29 Y revestirás de oro las tablas, y harás de oro sus argollas por donde pasarán las barras. Revestirás de oro las barras.

You shall overlay the boards with gold and make their rings of gold as holders for the bars; and you shall overlay the bars with gold.

30 E ntonces levantarás el tabernáculo según el plan que te ha sido mostrado en el monte. El Velo

Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to its plan which you have been shown in the mountain. The Veil and Screen

31 “ Harás además un velo de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata, y de lino fino torcido. Será hecho con querubines, obra de hábil artífice.

“You shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen; it shall be made with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.

32 L o colgarás sobre cuatro columnas de acacia revestidas de oro. Sus ganchos serán también de oro, sobre cuatro basas de plata.

You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, their hooks also being of gold, on four sockets of silver.

33 C olgarás el velo debajo de los broches, y pondrás allí, detrás del velo, el arca del testimonio. El velo les servirá como división entre el lugar santo y el Lugar Santísimo.

You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring in the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and the veil shall serve for you as a partition between the holy place and the holy of holies.

34 P ondrás el propiciatorio sobre el arca del testimonio en el Lugar Santísimo.

You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.

35 P ondrás la mesa fuera del velo, y el candelabro enfrente de la mesa en el lado del tabernáculo hacia el sur. Pondrás la mesa en el lado norte.

You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.

36 “ Harás también una cortina para la entrada de la tienda de tela azul, púrpura y escarlata, y de lino fino torcido, obra de tejedor.

“ You shall make a screen for the doorway of the tent of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver.

37 H arás cinco columnas de acacia para la cortina, y las revestirás de oro, y sus ganchos serán también de oro. Fundirás cinco basas de bronce para ellas.

You shall make five pillars of acacia for the screen and overlay them with gold, their hooks also being of gold; and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.
