1 G rande es el Señor, y muy digno de ser alabado en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, su santo monte.

Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

2 H ermoso en su elevación, el gozo de toda la tierra es el monte Sion, en el extremo norte, la ciudad del gran Rey.

Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

3 D ios en sus palacios se dio a conocer como baluarte.

God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.

4 P ues, he aquí, los reyes se reunieron; pasaron juntos.

For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together.

5 E llos la vieron y quedaron pasmados; se aterrorizaron y huyeron alarmados.

They saw it, then were they amazed; They were dismayed, they hasted away.

6 A llí se apoderó de ellos un temblor; dolor como el de mujer que está de parto.

7 C on el viento solano tú destrozas las naves de Tarsis.

With the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.

8 C omo lo hemos oído, así lo hemos visto en la ciudad del Señor de los ejércitos, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios; Dios la afirmará para siempre. (Selah )

As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah

9 E n tu misericordia, oh Dios, hemos meditado, en medio de tu templo.

We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

10 O h Dios, como es tu nombre, así es tu alabanza hasta los confines de la tierra; llena de justicia está tu diestra.

As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

11 A légrese el monte Sion, regocíjense las hijas de Judá, a causa de tus juicios.

Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.

12 A ndad por Sion e id alrededor de ella; contad sus torres;

Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;

13 c onsiderad atentamente sus murallas, recorred sus palacios, para que lo contéis a la generación venidera.

Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.

14 P orque este es Dios, nuestro Dios por siempre jamás; El nos guiará hasta la muerte.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.
