1 P or amor de Sion no callaré, y por amor de Jerusalén no me estaré quieto, hasta que salga su justicia como resplandor, y su salvación se encienda como antorcha.

For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burneth.

2 E ntonces verán las naciones tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria, y te llamarán con un nombre nuevo, que la boca del Señor determinará.

And the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory, and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name.

3 S erás también corona de hermosura en la mano del Señor, y diadema real en la palma de tu Dios.

Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 N unca más se dirá de ti: Abandonada, ni de tu tierra se dirá jamás: Desolada; sino que se te llamará: Mi deleite está en ella, y a tu tierra: Desposada; porque en ti se deleita el Señor, y tu tierra será desposada.

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 P orque como el joven se desposa con la doncella, se desposarán contigo tus hijos; y como se regocija el esposo por la esposa, tu Dios se regocijará por ti.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

6 S obre tus murallas, oh Jerusalén, he puesto centinelas; en todo el día y en toda la noche jamás callarán. Los que hacéis que el Señor recuerde, no os deis descanso,

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that are Jehovah's remembrancers, take ye no rest,

7 n i le concedáis descanso hasta que la restablezca, hasta que haga de Jerusalén una alabanza en la tierra.

and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 E l Señor ha jurado por su diestra y por su fuerte brazo: Nunca más daré tu grano por alimento a tus enemigos, ni hijos de extranjeros beberán tu mosto por el que trabajaste;

Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy grain to be food for thine enemies; and foreigners shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast labored:

9 p ero los que lo cosechen, lo comerán y alabarán al Señor; y los que lo recolecten, lo beberán en los atrios de mi santuario.

but they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise Jehovah; and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.

10 P asad, pasad por las puertas; abrid camino al pueblo. Construid, construid la calzada; quitad las piedras, alzad estandarte sobre los pueblos.

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up an ensign for the peoples.

11 H e aquí, el Señor ha proclamado hasta los confines de la tierra: Decid a la hija de Sion: “He aquí, tu salvación viene; he aquí, su galardón está con El, y delante de El su recompensa.”

Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

12 Y los llamarán: Pueblo Santo, redimidos del Señor. Y a ti te llamarán: Buscada, ciudad no abandonada.

And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
