1 T en piedad de mí, oh Dios, ten piedad de mí, porque en ti se refugia mi alma; en la sombra de tus alas me ampararé hasta que la destrucción pase.

Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast.

2 C lamaré al Dios Altísimo, al Dios que todo lo hace para mí.

I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth all things for me.

3 E l enviará desde los cielos y me salvará; El reprocha al que me pisotea. (Selah ) Dios enviará su misericordia y su verdad.

He will send from heaven, and save me, When he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.

4 M i alma está entre leones; tengo que acostarme entre los que vomitan fuego; entre los hijos de los hombres, cuyos dientes son lanzas y saetas, y cuya lengua es espada afilada.

My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

5 E xaltado seas sobre los cielos, oh Dios; sobre toda la tierra sea tu gloria.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.

6 H an tendido una red para mis pasos; mi alma está abatida; han cavado una fosa delante de mí, pero ellos mismos han caído en medio de ella. (Selah)

They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. Selah

7 F irme está mi corazón, oh Dios, mi corazón está firme; ¡cantaré y entonaré salmos!

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.

8 ¡ Despierta, gloria mía! ¡Despertad, arpa y lira! ¡A la aurora despertaré!

Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.

9 T e alabaré entre los pueblos, Señor; te cantaré alabanzas entre las naciones.

I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

10 P orque grande, hasta los cielos, es tu misericordia, y hasta el firmamento tu verdad.

For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.

11 E xaltado seas sobre los cielos, oh Dios; sobre toda la tierra sea tu gloria.
