1 G rande es el SEÑOR y digno de ser en gran manera alabado en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, en el monte de su santidad.

Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

2 H ermosa provincia, el gozo de toda la tierra es el monte de Sion, a los lados del aquilón, la ciudad del gran Rey.

Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

3 D ios en sus palacios es conocido por lugar de refugio.

God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.

4 P orque he aquí los reyes de la tierra fueron reunidos; pasaron todos.

For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They passed by together.

5 Y viéndola ellos así, se maravillaron, se asombraron, se dieron prisa a huir.

They saw it, then were they amazed; They were dismayed, they hasted away.

6 L es tomó allí temblor; dolor, como a mujer que da a luz.

Trembling took hold of them there, Pain, as of a woman in travail.

7 C on viento solano quiebras tú las naves de Tarsis.

With the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.

8 ¶ Como lo oímos, así lo hemos visto en la ciudad del SEÑOR de los ejércitos, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios; la afirmará Dios para siempre. (Selah.)

As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of Jehovah of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah

9 C oncebimos según tu misericordia, oh Dios, en medio de tu Templo.

We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of thy temple.

10 C onforme a tu Nombre, oh Dios, así es tu loor hasta los fines de la tierra; de justicia está llena tu diestra.

As is thy name, O God, So is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

11 S e alegrará el monte de Sion; se gozarán las hijas de Judá por tus juicios.

Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of thy judgments.

12 A ndad alrededor de Sion, y rodeadla; contad sus torres.

Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Number the towers thereof;

13 C onsiderad bien su antemuro, mirad sus palacios; para que lo contéis a la generación venidera.

Mark ye well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces: That ye may tell it to the generation following.

14 P orque este Dios es Dios nuestro eternalmente y para siempre; El nos capitaneará hasta la muerte.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.
